Astonishing review - National Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
The college National Institute of technology Calicut has very beautiful campus. I have chosen this college as it has very good placements. It is near to my home town and it is well diverse. And as per my rank in Joint Entrance Examination Mains this is the best option which I can get. The gender ratio is also good in this college.
 

Academics Rating
The academic curriculum of this institute is rigorous and competitive. The coding culture of this institute is very good I have a keen interest in technology development. The eligibility for this course is to score a good percentile in Joint entrance examination Mains. The main motive is to learn coding perfectly and get better opportunities in jobs.
 

Faculty Rating
Each subject has at least one professor for lectures and Ph.D scholar for tutorial classes. Professors teach us in a very unique way. Also they discuss the question papers of the previous years and their pattern. They are also very friendly. Students to faculty ratio are also pretty good. Each course has much number of professors who helps students in various ways.
 

Placement Rating
The college National Institute of technology Calicut has excellent placements. The highest package is 67.62lpa secured by a under graduate student of Computer Science and Engineering department. The overall average package of is 12.58 LPA. The percentage of students who got placed is 95 percent.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels are allotted on the basis of percentile and rank scored by the candidate in Joint entrance examination Mains. There is twenty four hours Ethernet connectivity available in every room. Each has its own mess and the food is decent.
 

Infrastructure Rating
NIT Calicut is also offering twenty PG programs including MBA and also there are eleven UG programs. There are eleven hostels in which two hostels are allotted to girls and other nine hostels are allotted to boys. There are academic buildings, admin building, research labs and other amenities and residents.
 

Campus Rating
The campus of NIT Calicut is beautiful and full of greenery. The campus is smooth and peaceful. The infrastructure is not too good but average. There are annual festivals in NIT Calicut Ragam it is the largest cultural festival of NIT Calicut, TATHVA it is the techno-management festival of NIT Calicut and There are many clubs which are helpful to students to increase their knowledge and communicative skills.

    Overall Rating
    The culture of this campus is something which made me want to join here the most. Thinking this was different from the usual colleges you hear about (in Kerala at least) but at the end of the day, this too is a campus governed by internal politics and administration. As a first year joining, what attracted me most were the fests and clubs. The fests are all cancelled as of now and since the fests are cancelled, the clubs have nothing to do.... Read Full Review
