Overall Rating
After higher secondary I cleared WBJEE with a rank of 12379 and sat for the college allocation process. In the 3rd round, I got the college AOT for my graduation. Now because my rank was quite high I had to go for Private colleges only, and I found that this college has a beautiful teaching environment, good campus life, and also great faculty members. This college is also a very short distance from my house and the course fees are also reasonable for me. For the reason, I choose that particular institute for my further studies.
 

Academics Rating
The course in which I have enrolled is B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. Criteria or cut-off marks to be eligible for this course is - 13k-18k and for TFW candidates - 8k-9k. This range varies year by year differently. As a motive I can say that student must take this course, because it not only enhances their career towards Computer Science, but also help them to learn about the daily changing corporate world and how to deal with it.
 

Faculty Rating
There are around 70-80 faculty members in my college for all the different streams. They all are helpful and also PHD or equivalent degrees in their respective subjects. The course curriculum is relevant and also helpful to make students industry-ready. Their teaching style is also very understandable. As many of our students are from other states so most of the time they use English or Hindi at the time of teaching rather than their mother tongue Bengali.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, my college has a placement cell. Each year about 92-96% students are placed. The Highest Package is 8-9 LPA, Average Package is 4-5 LPA and Lowest Package is 3-4 LPA. Companies that arrive for recruiting are TCS, CTS, KPIT, Persistent, IBS, Cognizant, and many more.
 

Hostel Rating
I am a day scholar so I don't opt for hostels in my college life. So I don't know that much about the hostel, but there are two hostels one is for boys and another for girl and those two are also at a particular distance.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is a huge campus in our college Academy of Technology. It is very beautiful and worth to watch campus in any time of the day. There is also 4 Buildings, 1 Library, 1 canteen, 2 hostels, 2 playgrounds, and 1 Basketball Ground in the college campus. Sufficient Labs are available for every stream, and also classrooms for each batch and section. The labs are well-equipped with all electronic instruments and software, hardware machines and other facilities.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is very good in AOT, but one can't roam around in campus except during lunch time or some important work to do also that with the teacher's permission. There are many clubs like - Student's Chapter for each stream, IEEE Student's chapter, Ingenium, and many more. They organized many activities like teach quiz, hackathons, coding events etc in college campus. In each year an annual function named ARCADIA is held in my college AOT.

    This college offers good placements with the minimum fees of Rs.4 lakh for 4 years which is around 1 lakh per year. This college offers good courses for B.Tech like Computer Science Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Computer Science with Business System and other departments.     Academy of Technology (AOT) is situated in Adisaptagram, Hooghly, West Bengal.It is very close to the Adisaptagram railway station.AOT shares a very big campus area compared to the other engineering colleges of West Bengal.The Faculty members of this college are very helpful.
