My college experience at Swami Shraddhanand College

Overall Rating
My overall experience of this college is not so good. The environment and infrastructure if this college is not so good. The library here is very good or the teachers are also helpful and highly qualified. The facilities here are not good like other colleges but the teachers of this college are very good.
 

Academics Rating
To pursue this course, children will have to appear for CUET exam. After this course, if you want, you can appear in government job exams or you can choose courses like MA. After this course you get the knowledge of your subject but along with it you also get the knowledge of extracurricular activities or subjects which the college provides you.
 

Faculty Rating
Our teachers are highly qualified in their respective subjects. They have a lot of experience in their respective fields and subjects. Teachers are very friendly in nature and also very helpful. They are always ready to help us.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in our college but it is very sad that the placement cell is not so active.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no hostel in our college but there are many PG rooms near the college where the rent is around Rs 8000 per month and you will get many facilities like Wi-Fi, gym, and mess food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college has two buildings. Our course students have been given an old building which is in a very bad condition or has no facilities at all. But yes, we also have access to the new building, so we can go there whenever we want and the new building is much better than the old building.
 

Campus Rating
There is often a lot of crowd in the college campus. There are many clubs and societies in the college like sports clubs, NCC, NSS, dance society etc. Every year in the college, there is a fest in the month of March or April which is celebrated with great devotion. Only cultural societies participate in it and no celebrity is invited.

    Swami Shraddhanand college is named after the very famous social worker and freedom fighter Swami Shraddhanand. This college has biggest campus and playing area. The staff was very nice.     This is a very decent college of Delhi University and it comes under the off campus region. The college infrastructure is also good and we also have canteen available in the college which provides good quality and tasty food. The teaching staff is also good and we have regular classes of all the subjects as well... Read Full Review

    Overall Rating
    It is an out of campus co-ed college of Delhi University and is present on the outskirts of Delhi. There are a number of buses to reach the college from the GTK bypass but the facility of Delhi Metro is still not there. I studied there for 3 years i.e. 2011-2014 for my graduation. At that time admission was based on a merit list released by the university. Being an out of campus college you could get admission here with average marks in good courses as compared to North and south campus colleges... Read Full Review
