In NIT Rourkela, my experience is good. There are many clubs and fests. The academic schedule is also very flexible and that allows the students to take part in many other activities which they are interested into. The facility here is also good. The facilities provided in the hostels are very good and the infrastructure is also good. The campus is built on 600 acres so is also a very large campus. The placements are quite good. The faculty is very friendly and experienced. The hostel facilities are also very good. NIT Rourkela has also many sports facilities. NIT Rourkela offers you everything a student can ask for.

Coming to the academics, NIT Rourkela offers many courses and opportunities. JEE Mains exam is the requirement for this college. Depending upon the rank and the interest of the student, he/she can enroll in the course.

The faculty in NIT Rourkela is pretty good. They have so much teaching experience. Many have completed their degree in IIT’s. They have also done many research projects and are very much experienced. The style of teaching is mostly digital and very easy to understand. They allow us to freely communicate with them for any queries.

Yes, there is a placement cell in NIT Rourkela called Career Development Centre. It helps the students in getting a job. Many companies come to our college for recruiting the students during the placement program.

There are hostel facilities in NIT Rourkela. There are nearly 7 boy’s hostel and 2 girl’s hostel and more in construction. The facilities in hostels are quite good. There are enough canteens in hostels and the infrastructure is good. The basic facilities like washing machines, water heaters are also provided in the hostels. The mess food is not so good but it can be bearable. There will be hall days, garden parties and many other activities in hostels for the residents.

In NIT Rourkela, there are academic blocks for almost every course. The infrastructure is also good. They are neatly maintained with many great facilities and almost every requirement is given. There is central library with Wi-Fi access and almost all the books which are required are accessible. The academic blocks conduct labs and for classes there is a separate block which is well equipped with great tech providing great learning.

The campus life is quite good. There are many clubs and fests in NIT Rourkela. There are people from different parts of the country. Many activities take place every single day related to tech, coding, academic, etc. The students maintain healthy relationships with each other and doesn’t involve in many harmful activities. The campus is large enough for students to engage in different activities. Overall, the campus life here in NIT Rourkela is good.
