Overall Rating
It is one of the best engineering colleges in North Bengal region. I am also from Howrah but I choose this college after my JELET Exam, The college is situated in a good environment. The college is in a quiet environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is the only Engineering College in Cooch Behar District, West Bengal.
 

Academics Rating
There are total 5 B.Tech courses available in this college, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics & Communication and Computer Science Technology. My Department ECE is very demanding course in CGEC. You Don't need to spend too much money for your higher studies because, this is a fully government sponsored institute.
 

Faculty Rating
My Department ECE has Best Lecturers here, There are total 7 Teachers in ECE, and other teachers also take classes for audit subjects. Each and every teacher is very helpful & friendly. They try at their best for students. All of them have Teaching + Industry + Research experience in depth. Other Department Teacher also good & helpful in anything.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This is a modern & Newly Constructed Institution in Coochbehar District. There are 2 main building in this college, Academic & Administrative. All of our classes held in academic building. Adequate Classrooms, Laboratory, Library are available. Other buildings like Boys & Girls Hostel, Computer Lab, Workshop, Large Playground, Gym, Canteen etc. is located behind these 2 main buildings.
 

Campus Rating
Since 5 months after taking my admission, I experienced there are so many cultural, technical fest, event, competition held. Tech fest like Google, Hackathon arranged many courses in here. For 1st year & 2nd year lateral students, freshers event, Saraswathi Puja also celebrated with grandeur.

    I choose this Coochbehar Government Engineering College because this is government college and the tuition fee is 6000 per semester and it has 8 semester and total fees was 48000. Along with this you have to pay 1200 rupees for examination fees and you have to pay other extra curriculum fee which is almost 500 rupees.... Read Full Review

    This review contains all the details about the academic, technical, placements, sports, mess, foods, etc. The teachers in our college are quite experienced and have Ph.D in their respective courses.     My overall experience for this college is not good. I took admission in this college, because I did not know the internal system. I just saw the review and that was positive, so I took the admission, but that was wrong. Yes, one thing is good that from the college side you would not get so much pressure, so you will able to do your stuffs or your works more smoothly.
