National Institute of Science and Technology B.Tech Review By Rakesh Pradhan

My journey at the college began in 2017, and I have really enjoyed my college life. It was a lifetime experience for me and I made a lot of friends and could meet many new peoples, attend seminars, giving speeches and many more fun activities. I'm currently a part of the college but I would be leaving the college in just 3 months, and I couldn't believe the time has passed so early. It feels like it had just started today. Well, the college has almost all the facilities that are needed and; I think you won't suffer from any issues regarding Academics as well as the campus. Overall, the college is quite good and I would like to rate 4 out 5. Yeah there are some disputes going on in the college but it would get fine soon.

Currently, I'm pursuing Computer Science and engineering and the quality of education is just excellent. Academics include presentation, analytics, even industrial works which are quite beneficial for students. Every next week we have a weekly test and the teachers take proper care of every student's marks. The best part about the academies is live projectors are always included when the classes are going on.

All the teachers are highly educated and most of them are PhD holders and they have many years of teaching experience. The professors are very knowledgeable and supportive and you don't have to worry about asking doubts and questions. Most teachers have industrial skills which make them more experienced in guiding students about real industrial works. Also, we have a great time with our faculties because they are friendly and you can ask them your doubts and you don't have to overwhelm at all.

The placement is quite fine and you don't have to worry much about it. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and many other tech giants visited the college last year. The problem got started just because of covid and placements were slightly affected.

A few of my seniors had got placed with a highest package of 20 lakhs and most of them were placed in between 4 to 5 lakhs. They offered me a package of 8 lakhs and this made me quite satisfied the fees we had paid has worth it. Not only me but also many of my friends got placed in the many tech giants and they are quite happy.

Well, the college hostel is average and we do not have an excellent quality of food. The rooms are quite small and three people have to stay in a single room, which is tough during summer.
I have personally never stayed at the hostel but as most of my friends stay at the hostel. Therefore, I have got an idea about our college hostel because I have visited our college hostel several times.

The best thing about our college hostel is you can freely move and don't have to worry about ragging because we have a Ragging free campus. Well, the hostel provides food 4 times a day and there is a separate place for vegetarians and non vegetarians. The teachers and seniors living in the hostel are supportive and always are ready to provide you guidance at each and every step. Overall, the hostels are quite good and clean except for the congested rooms.

It has sporting facilities for outdoor sports like cricket, volleyball, basketball and even it has indoor games. We have an extensive library where many students can sit and study. The library is one of the best places in the college because there are separate libraries for different departments like for B.Tech students we have a different library and a different one for MCA students. The campus also has a swimming pool, canteens, and particularly everything that you need.

Life on the campus is one of the best you can find, the seniors are friendly, cooperative and the teachers are good. We celebrate many functions in our college, as they are really amazing. The events help us showcase our talent and different cultural activities help us know many new things.
