Review for Techno International New Town (TINT)

Overall Rating
Techno International New Town, Kolkata, is a college well known for its courses offered for management and technology related streams. It provides various courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, BBA, MBA, BCA, etc. The college resides at an easily commutable location of Rajarhat, with the bus stop at just 2 minutes walking distance.
 

Academics Rating
For technology related streams, admissions are based on exams like WBJEE and JEE, whereas for management related streams, students can directly contact the admission cell of the college for reference. If possible, the students can also visit the college along with their guardian for admission related queries.
 

Faculty Rating
All the respectable faculty members are designated Ph.D holders of their respective courses. Each faculty members holds a unique approach of teaching the students based on the learning capabilities of the students and their course syllabus. Doubt clearing sessions are also held for the students at regular intervals during each semester.
 

Placement Rating
There is a training and placement cell in the college that offers various placement opportunities to the students. The college also guarantees a placement percentage of around 75 percent.
 

Hostel Rating
The college specifically has separate hostels for boys and girls which are at reasonable distance from the college campus. Proper four course meals are served every day, and 24x7 water supplies are also available.
 

Infrastructure Rating
All the college classrooms have adequate number of benches, lights and fans, so as to meet the requirement of the students. Lifts are installed as well for proper and efficient usage. The college library issues books to the students every semester which are enough to cover up the course. Free Wi-Fi is also provided to the students all over the campus.
 

Campus Rating
The college organizes a fest every year, known as Yagvik. Apart from that, the college also has several clubs like literary, drama, film shooting, sports, photography and trekking club. The college also conducts several seminars and camps throughout the year. The college also encourages the students to participate in co-curricular competitive intra college programs.

    Techno International Newtown is a subgroup of Techno branch of colleges affiliated with MAKAUT. Situated in Newtown, Smart City, this college holds a great record for providing students a good salary and LPA Packages. Overall, placement is good, some teachers and professors are also good enough. Although campus is a bit small, but if you want a good engineering degree, this college is the one you can give a try.... Read Full Review
