Honest review on RVS College of Engineering and Technology

Overall Rating
This college has all the basic things that are required to become an engineer but not more than basics thing like you have all types of labs and activities and campus life is also good, but not all students are good. Negativity among students is the problem. Overall this college is good to complete your engineering with proper knowledge. I choose this college just because it was close to my residence and not for any special reason.
 

Academics Rating
Getting admission in this college is not a very tough job because there is no entrance exam and all. So everybody who have passed 12th standard is eligible for this college. The course ECE, it is best course according to me because there's a lot to explore in this field.
 

Faculty Rating
There are different faculties for different semesters. Overall faculty is good but talking about some exceptions, then those are not so good. I don’t like the teaching style of some teachers as they can’t even complete our syllabus on time. But the teaching style of other teachers is nice as they make the topics very easy to understand.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a cell in our college, named as Placement and Training. It helps every student in getting placed. Many companies visit the campus for recruiting, but the packages are not so good. They have an average package of 8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there is residential facility available in our institute. Hostel life is not so good and food quality is also not good. The students always complain about the quality of food and the hostel bathrooms are also not cleaned every day. But one good thing about the hostel is that it is ragging free, you don't have to be scared of any senior because there are strict rules for ragging.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is well maintained in our college and there's a lot of space for the students. It has different playgrounds for different sports and also there is a shopping center from where you can purchase basic stuffs like comb, bulb, nail cutters and other items. There's canteen where you can find variety of snacks. Different blocks are available for different departments, some departments are merged into same blocks but they are on different floors.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is average. A lot of fests are not organised ion the college but I can tell you that there are two special events where you will enjoy most. One is Provenance and another is Freshers day. In which concerts are also organised. Students there are all good and you don’t have to worry if you are an introvert. You can make a plenty of friends here. College organises a sports event also called Frollick in which students from different branch compete with each other.

    Overall Rating
    My college is AICTE approved and it works under Jharkhand University of Technology. It was ranked second in Jharkhand state. My college is trying to tie MOU with Bangladesh. After this, students will get a chance to go on an educational trip to Bangladesh’s top universities. Our college has a higher placement rate than other colleges of Jharkhand.     The college is well recognised or we can say the best private college in Bihar and Jharkhand. The college comes understand Jharkhand University of Technology. The environment in the campus is very good and free from ragging. The students are secured. They have separate hostels for boys and girls.     RVS College of Engineering and Technology is one of the best engineering colleges in Jharkhand. I chose this college because I found this college better than other colleges as it provides best placement and the faculty is also highly educated and some faculty are also foreign returns.     Now it's been 1.5 years at RVSCET and the journey has been a rollercoaster ride for me. When I was looking for colleges, I went through many colleges like ITER, CV Raman Global University, Arka Jain University, etc. But I chose RVSCET because this college had a good reputation among all other private colleges of Jharkhand.
