Indian Institute of Information Technology - Pretty Decent College

Overall Rating
Well the college is near my home state and also there is couple of other options. I choose the Indian Institute of Information Technology Dharwad because of the Campus located in a good location and many facilities are also provided. The placements at our college are also decent.
 

Academics Rating
So there are a variety of courses like Computer Programming, DSA, and Operating System etc. Just you should have the discipline, consistency, and ready to do the hard work. As you know all the required courses are be provided here and curriculum is up to date and all the courses match the GATE syllabus and have the industry ready courses.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are good here; most of the faculties here are Ph.D holders from various premier institutes like IIITs and NITs. They have many years of experience in various domains like cloud computing, Block chain, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and many more. Professor has their own field of interest that you can search over our college site.
 

Placement Rating
Regarding placements I will say average as we are a new institute we have pretty decent alumina and our CGC (Career guidance cell) is decent. They are trying their best to get the students placed and also there is scope of improvement on the placements part that will take place on the timeline.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes we have both girl’s hostel and boy’s hostel separately. Boys hostel has around 600-700 students capacity and hostel is pretty decent. Since we are the first batch in the new campus so the hostel is neat and clean. There is drinking water facility, Induction facility on both sides of the floor, and laundry services are included in the hostel fees. The hostel rooms are spacious and one room has a capacity of accommodating 4 students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college infrastructure is good. We have a beautiful campus of 62 acres and all at a walkable distance. The campus buildings are M Block: this is multipurpose block it will consist, badminton court and a basket ball court and also table tennis facilities and fests are held here. PI Block: It is Administrative block. E-Block: In e-block all the classes will be held. H-Block: In H-Block the health facility and canteen, stationary shop is available.
 

Campus Rating
Regarding campus life I will say average as you are provided with most of the facilities inside the campus itself. Also you can go out anytime in morning and you should be in campus before 9 pm. it is a strict rule and if you are going out on a vacation then you can take the out pass and sign with the concerned authorities. There is a canteen, stationary shop, decent amount of greenery and a spacious college but you will not have the great night life.

    There are quite many reasons for choosing this college, especially because of a government funded institute. I personally don't insist someone to join this college but as of my opinion this college gives everything you need for a pleasant atmosphere to study.     IIIT is one of the National Importance institutes in PPP model that is Public Private Partnership. It is also a member of the reputable IIIT network in India. For those who are interested in technology, it provides a targeted curriculum, particularly in Science and Electronics. It offers only three courses CSE, DSAI and ECE in Bachelor of Technology.   • Indian Institute of Information Technology - Pretty Average Experience

    I had an average experience at the college. The campus is average but the atmosphere here is good. We will have a good experience here and we will have ample opportunities here to learn new things and the college is 60 acres large. The hostel life here in IIIT Dharwad is below average like we have limited resources and the mess food is below par to bad.... Read Full Review

    It has been since I had joined the college IIIT Dharwad. I have found some pros and cons in the college. It was pretty decent having an experience in the college. Also, before our batch IIIT Dharwad had a temporary college and from our batch the permanent college had also gotten ready.
