Academy of technology is situated at Adisaptagram, Hooghly. The college has a very good ambience and learning environment. Also it has a touch of nature and greenery all around. The college also gives importance to extracurricular activities. There is football ground, badminton court, basketball court and volleyball ground. There are different buildings for different departments and experienced faculties. The college has a big canteen and hostel facilities as well. Girls and boys hostel are different and well apart. The colleges also focus on developing skills and confidence of the students. College also organises many events and competition for the students. The labs are very good and adequate in number and have a large strength and capacity. All this facts made me take admission here and I would definitely recommend others to join here to share their carrier and achieve their goals.

To take admission one has to give WBJEE or JEE examination and qualify the same. Admission can be taken through counseling or by management quota (direct admission). Also one needs to pass their 12 class with minimum 50 percent marks. It offers the course on bachelor of technology in streams like computer science (CSE), mechanical, ECE, EE, EEE, and CSBS. It also offers MCA course. The college will definitely be a good choice for the above mentioned course and build your career in the above mentioned fields. Also the placement of good here.

The facilities here for all the departments are very good having a great experience in their respective fields. They have good teaching skills and make sure that the students get the concepts on their finger tips and understand the subject properly. Also they listen and clear student's doubt and also help them develop other skills. Also there is ample amount of teachers available for every subject and also they provide extra sessions for those students who have problems in understanding some topics.

The placement department of the college is good and helps the students get ready and prepared for their placement and gives their best that the students get placed. Many good and big companies come for the placement. The placement department gives training to the students before the placement season starts and helps the students to build their confidence and knowledge for getting placed. Also they help the students get internships to develop skills and experience.

Hostel is available for both girls and boys. Boys and girls hostel is separated. Many activities are organised in hostel for the hostellers like various competitions like cricket, football, dance and so on. Also there is annual get together party arranged for the hostellers. The food provided is good. The hostel infrastructure is also good. The hostel timings are there and disciplined is also maintained.

There are many buildings like for electrical department having classrooms and electrical labs. Washroom is there in every floor. Similarly there is mechanical building and a separate building for the first years having classrooms for different disciplines. The building for CSE department has many labs for various fields. There is a separate building which is the admin block. Canteen and playground like basketball court, football ground, badminton court, swimming pool, gym, two auditoriums and many more things are also there in the college.

Campus Life here is just so good and perfect. There are various clubs which students can join and also students chapter of different departments are there which organises various competitions and events and seminars. The college fest is just awesome and amazing with many cultural and technical activities and performances, musical nights and much more.
