Review on GM Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
If am from Davangere so I want to join the college in this city so I attended K-CET entrance exam and I got the seat in GMIT in E&C branch. The college is good for its academic excellence and for placement also so I choose this college. My seniors also suggested me to join this college. The college is pretty good I loved it.
 

Academics Rating
To get admission either you have to write K-CET or if you get good rankings you can choose which branch you want to join. Or you can also get admission through management quota. The eligibility criteria are that you had to pass in 12th boards. You require 12th certificate and some academic details.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are highly qualified and knowledgeable and they provide us with a great knowledge on the particular subjects. They are so friendly and helpful. The style of teaching is that they use both smart boards as well as you chalk board. They provide notes on the particular subjects and they clarify the doubts when you ask them.
 

Placement Rating
Yes the placements opportunities are provided in our college. They conduct placement training sessions for students to get ready for the industry. The internship is also conducted to get knowledge on their particular field. The training and placement professor help us and guide us through the academics.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facility is also good. Hygienic washrooms and 2 sharing and 3 sharing rooms are provided to students. The infrastructure is pretty good and they provide all facilities required for hostelers for example hot water, washing machine and power facility. The hostel food is average. But it's tasty. They have gym and indoor games to enjoy
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus infrastructure is so good the campus is too large and advanced. The Wi-Fi facility and washrooms, classrooms, labs and parking facility for bikes and cars and lawn for sitting and canteen facility is also provided. The bus facility is also there for day scholars. The Central library is also constructed with advanced infrastructure. You can read more than 1000+ books based on your subject and academics.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is too good. Lots of fest is conducted and curriculum activities are also conducted. Once in a year "Mallika" fest is conducted to honor the state rank students and the VTU toppers. Dance, songs and many programs are encouraged. You can also join sports club if you are interested in sports.

So I searched many colleges but at last I got a seat in GMIT, which was the best decision of my life. I got into Electronic and Communication stream.
