Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies Ongole (IIIT) is a State university established by Andhra Pradesh government in 2008. There are total four RGUKT campuses in Andhra Pradesh (Nuzvid, RK valley, Ongole, Srikakulam). Out of these four initially Nuzvid & RK valley campuses are established in 2008 and 8 years later another two branches were established which Ongole & Srikakulam campuses are in 2016. The first time I heard about this college was when my senior got a seat in IIIT Nuzvid by securing 10 GPA in 10th class. You need to be a merit student to get into this college. Only students who have GPA around 9.6 to 10 in 10th class can get a seat in this college. The main motive of this college is to offer a quality education to the poor students. So, overall it's a best college to study who can't afford fees in private colleges.

The course structure of this college is 6 year integrated course in which 2 years for PUC (Pre University Course) + 4 years for B.Tech course. This college follows khan academy syllabus for PUC course and state syllabus for B.Tech course. This University follows relative grading system. The 2 years of PUC course is equivalent to 2 years Intermediate course and additionally you will learn some Information Technology related subjects in this PUC which will give you a slight edge over other students who have studied Intermediate. Based on your PUC results you will get a branch to study B.Tech course.

This institution offers a decent placement support. MNC's like WIPRO, TCS, Accenture visit this college every year. Students get an average package of around 6-12 LPA.

Yes, this college has residential facilities. There are total 3 campuses for this college. Even though we don't have our own campus issued by the government, this institution provides a good hostel facilities by taking private college hostels for leagues.

This college don't have an own campus issued by the Government of AP. So we're studying in private campus that are taken for league for some years until we have an own campus. The infrastructure of this institution is decent enough to study and the buildings are pretty good. There are total blocks in our own campus out of them 6 blocks are dedicated to B.Tech departments and rest of them are for hostels, mess and canteen etc.

Currently I'm a final year student in this campus. I enjoyed a lot by studying in this college. I made new friends in this college and have good memories with them. We celebrate our fests great. There are some art, cultural, coding, and dance clubs. Overall I felt very happy for studying in this campus.
