It feels amazing to be a student of RGUKT. The life at RGUKT is a once in a lifetime experience because the institute provides free and quality education for the students of rural areas. From my childhood onwards I had a thought of joining in the institute to get closer to my dreams. As the institute provides free education, it also relieves parents from financial burden. The college is like a little heaven with full greenery and students.

It is a six years complete course which consists of two years of PUC (pre University course) and four years of engineering. The students are allotted seats in the college by considering tenth class SSC marks. There are no particular entry requirements but the student just needs to pass the tenth class with extraordinary percentage. The RGUKT institution itself gives the notification on the official website and also through newspaper to register for enrollment in the seat allotment in the college.

The faculty members teach well, I can't say extraordinary teaching but it's nice. As we know that there would some faults within every institution we can consider this as one of it. But there are also the faculty members who had their education at Universities like IIT and Nits. The concepts will be explained by the faculty from very basic level.

We had a lot of placements in the previous years from every department of engineering. There is an alumni cell at our campus which mainly has contacts with the current working employees in major IT and tech companies who have once studied in our institution. The alumni cell focuses on bringing companies to our college to get the students recruited.

The hostel facilities can be rated above average. The students will be provided with free bed and cot. The institute provides free hostel facilities. The hostel Life here is very beautiful and it makes a lot of memories. There are also play ground like places inside hostel but students are not allowed to play there. There won't be any recreational activities provided to students at hostel.

Currently there are three academic blocks for whole six year students. The academic blocks look very beautiful both from outside and inside. The infrastructure provided in the classrooms consists of electrical ported desks and rotatable chairs. The classrooms are very big and there is a projector in the class. There are five big dining halls. There is also a big auditorium where important meetings are held and movies are projected on the big screen. There are five to six hostel apartments which provide many facilities. Also there are indoor stadiums for playing badminton and some other indoor games and there is also a big ground where cricket and football games are played

The campus life can be stated as a normal life. It means there would be not be many fests conducted here. Once in a year there will be a tech fest called Techzite and there will also be an entertainment fest called Cygnus which will be conducted rarely. There is a food court where birthday parties will happen and it's like lovers spot or garden. There are also some engagement activities which ensure to develop communication skills and also recreational clubs which conduct activities like gatherings or meetings. There is also a music academy where students can learn vocal (singing) and mridangam.
