This institute is among top 5 NITs in India. MNIT is nearest to my hometown so I choose this college. The experience at this college is awesome. It is situated in heart of pink city Jaipur. World Trade Park is near to it. Patrika Gate is also a tourist attraction near to it. MNIT was established in 1963. And it has a vast history of 50+ years. Placements are awesome here. I will prefer to study at this college.

There are 8 branches in college i.e. CSE, ECE, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Metallurgy, and AI. Student has to clear Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) to secure seat in anyone department. The cut-off is dependent on the department he/she is willing to join. The student should be 12th passed in PCM with an aggregate score of 75%. This college provides B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, Ph.D, and MBA.

There are about 37 faculties in mechanical department. Faculties are divided into three categories i.e. Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. Each department has a Head of Department (HOD). Faculties has worked and researched in big foreign universities as well as Indian universities. Mostly faculties use PowerPoint slides to teach. They have a research scholar with them to accompany them while teaching.

The placements in the college are awesome. The average package stood 13.5 LPA in 2023 year. The placement is highest in CSE followed by ECE, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, and Civil. The highest package stood 69 LPA in 2023. In our department (Mechanical), the average package stood at 10.7 LPA and highest package stood at 22 LPA.

There are 14 boys’ hostel and 3 girl’s hostel in MNIT. The hostel fee is 32000 INR per semester. I reside in H9 (Aurobindo Hostel). Facilities at hostel are good. The bathrooms have a water geyser for hot water. They are well cleaned regularly. Mess food is good. Taste of food varies hostel to hostel. We have a hostel H14 (Vinodini Hostel) and it got award of International level hostel.

We have Asia's Largest Lecture Theatre VLTC (Vivekananda Lecture Theatre Complex). It can accompany 5500 students at once. The administrable building of college is Prabha Bhawan. It got recognition as a Green Building. We have an open air theatre (OAT). All the fest and functions are organised here. We have a shopping complex named as Pandit Malviya Circle (PMC). We have a temple in our institute. We have a library and there are more than 1 lakh books available there. We have a central canteen named as Annapurna Canteen for snacks. We have a high class Computer Centre to help students in studying.

The campus life is awesome in MNIT. There are about 19 cultural clubs and 23 technical clubs. We have a robotics club also named as 'ZINE'. The annual fest is known as 'BLITZSCHLAG' organised in the month of February. The technical fest in known as 'SPHINX' organised in the month of October. There are other activities also like Malviya Sports Tournament (MST) organised each year in the month of February to embark health awareness among students. We have a youth fest organised every year in the month of January during Makarshakranti. Hostel days are celebrated in every hostel. Mostly sports facility is available in college with high class equipment.
