Overall Good Experience at Khudiram Bose Central College

Overall Rating
Myself Suvranil Das, student of Khudiram Bose Central College. I took admission in this college because it was close to my living address and I found my preferred subject options in Honors paper. I went through 3 years of academic session and after that I can say that if anyone is interested to take admission in this college, they will get average academic experience.
 

Academics Rating
In Higher Secondary exam I got 75% marks, and after that applying in the preferred course of mine (Geography Hons.) I got selection in this college. So those who want to take admission in the honors paper, they have to score at least 60% in their higher secondary examination. There’s a lot of subject options in general & honors i.e. Geography, English, Political Sc., Economics, Education, Bengali etc.
 

Faculty Rating
In my department (Geography) there is a lack of faculty. Number of teachers & professors should be increased. Although the teachers & professors who are currently in charge of Geography department are very helpful but the numbers of professors should be increased. Among them, some of have done PHD & some are lecturer.

Infrastructure Rating
In fact the infrastructure of this college is not good at all. The building is getting damaged day by day. There is lack of rooms in the college. There is no play ground in this college. The good thing is: smart room facility is available. Beside this Common room, gym, concert hall, library is also available.
 

Campus Rating
In various occasions college plays a role. College organise Conference meeting or seminar, Annual prize distribution, inter college dance competition, inter college sports etc. College also organise a fest in a year. Departmental farewell is also given to the seniors. College union also conducts a picnic in a year.
