Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies B.Tech Review By Madaka Ajay Kumar

First of all there is no ragging and the college environment is very peaceful and as it's a university the atmosphere is actually pretty cool. The academics is good. The syllabus is not very heavy. The classrooms are good and the curriculum and exams are also okay. Hostels are good but not much cleanliness is maintained. The clubs conducts cultural activities which is very good. Overall I would say the college is very good for someone who wants to pursue B.Tech.

I am studying computer science course. The curriculum is good. The basics of almost all topics are segregated very wisely and there are also other subjects that are really helpful. Course eligibility: Actually the university conducts an entrance test for 10th pass outs and the qualifying marks are based on reservation. After that we need to study 2 year PUC course and score good CGPA then we are given a choice to select the course we like. I actually wanted to pursue B.Tech at a good university and chose this and I am sure it is good for anyone like me.

The faculty of our course is quite good. Everyone is very much adept in their subjects and almost everyone is a PG graduate. Although time constraints are very much concerning. So even though faculty wants to give their best sometimes it might not be possible. The methods of teaching are pretty standard they meet the weekly targets set to them. I think they're pretty good considering they're lecturers.

Yes, we have a Placement Cell and it helps students to acquire jobs they also guide students in doing projects and all. Some people are placed in pretty good companies like Accenture, IBM, Yahoo, etc.

Our university has a residential facility (hostel). The hostel rooms are actually big enough not very congested. The beds are provided by the institute and almost all lights, fans, and charging ports are in working condition. But the bathrooms are a bit troublesome. They are not properly maintained only cleaned weekly once. There is a ground in our hostel and it is quite big we play games there like cricket, shuttle, etc. I would say our hostels are decent enough.

The infrastructure is really good, well planned, conceived and constructed building also greenery is maintained in the academic blocks which are the best part. The classrooms are good. Each class can accommodate 60 members. The benches and chairs are quite fancy and comfortable. There is a building that has a yoga hall and music room and basketball court and a big ground. The infrastructure is the best part in our college.

The campus life is nice and we can have fun in the college there are variety of clubs, we can join in any of them and can participate in many cultural activities. If we can manage to maintain our academics the college life is really fun and there is so much to watch out for. We can make many friends in classes, rooms, clubs and we can hang out with them. And there is a library for book fanatics like me. We can borrow them to room. Also we can join in NCC, NSS, and do social service. Also there is a food court if we ever so not like food in mess we can go there. Also tech fests and flash mobs are also conducted which are really fun we can participate in many games. Also we are taken to field trips also.
