Review on Panchayat College bargarh, Bhubaneswar

Overall Rating
Best college in Bargarh district. Outstanding in performance.im from botany department there a beautiful garden in our college the maintenance is ok till the date. Bathroom facilities also available in our college. It is aided with Sambalpur University situated in Burla. It is the nodal college of the district.
 

Academics Rating
The college comprises of 18 departments having both UG and PG programmes. The college has 3 streams Science Commerce and Humanities. Overall teaching facility is good. All the departments have good results in the semesters. Gold medalist comes out of this college. College is somewhat weak in sports department.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are well educated and well experienced here. For PG programmes all the Faculties are Ph.D degree holder. All are NET qualified. As a government college all the Faculties are OES officers. There is also an old rude principal who doesn't give any permission to students. Teaching quality is the best in the district.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a Placement Cell but it is of no use.
 

Hostel Rating
So far boy's hostel is good but there's water shortage problem going on every time. Hostels are not well maintained.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is not so good here. The old buildings are stronger than the newly built buildings. New buildings have got cracks in the walls. For the name of toilets locked toilets are given which are not maintained and smell so much. Newly built buildings are going on good but the college needs to change it.
 

Campus Rating
There are no fests, no clubs, or nothing such activity. For the sake of fest we got only one annual function. This is worst. Other colleges have better annual functions and decoration. There is nothing like clubs but we got NSS here. The NCC wing was removed from here by the principal. Cultural activities are done near the election time.

    There is a big campus inside the college. The facilities for the students are also very good and student friendly. There are also other curricular activities that are happened where students participate to enhance their knowledge and experience.     This is a fully government funded college. It is the only government college in the district. This is one of the best in the area. It is aided with Sambalpur University. The infrastructure is not so good or not so bad. The maintenance is very poor. The course system is similar to CBCS. It does not have a lot of options for courses.... Read Full Review
