My journey through Techno Engineering College Banipur, In-depth review

Overall Rating
At a first glance you will love this college because it’s a part of the great Techno India College. The college campus is not huge as the main campus because the area is not large and though it is located in the sub urban area, it is expected that it do not have that much campus area. Although the college environment and courses are good, not much courses there to do but it is ok.
 

Academics Rating
Here courses are limited and you can only choose between these topics - AIML, CSE, ME and ECE. This particular college is under MAKAUT university. So you will have to do some external courses from NPTEL or Coursera to get some points which will help you to get you B.Tech with honors degree. Apart from that some tutorial classes are organized by the college itself.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of this college is nice. They are helpful and also if you stuck in any problem they are always there to help you out. They are highly knowledgeable and some of them have Ph.D degree. They are great problem solver as well as guide. Teachers can overtime if you want to learn more or have any issue in you field.
 

Placement Rating
In this college they claim that there placement rate is high. Well in my personal opinion, if anyone wants a job then they should prepare themselves and work on themselves. But apart from that, yes this college brings good companies every year and many students get placed from here.
 

Hostel Rating
Not applicable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The building is divided into two sections, one for the main building itself and one is our workshop. Apart from that, the color scheme and the structure are same as all the Techno Group colleges. Workshop is very large and In front of it, the canteen is placed. Campus is not so large but it does contain a badminton court and a volleyball ground.
 

Campus Rating
In this college you will find GDSC club and especially another coding club which is created by the college’s students themselves. Students are very talented and some of them have great skills. Fest and fresher party of this college is great. Every year they bring some new Bands to encourage the freshers. Other than those sports, holy and many other programs are organized every year.

    I personally study in this college as a 1st year student. This college is small compared to other colleges. This college feels more like a school. The facilities in this college are also limited: no Wi-Fi for students, no sitting area, no lift, and no air conditioning (this will change because they are installing air conditioning).     Overall Rating
    Overall college is helpful and the faculties are very well researched and cooperative. The college is situated in a remote location which has its own pros and cons the pros are you can study in a focus environment without any destruction and the cone is for any single need you have to travel quite a few kilometers the city is little far away from the college.     My experience is not good as it is an average college. I am a second year student. The college campus is very small. Canteen's food is not so good. Faculty members are average. Classrooms are not well maintained. Students don't attend any classes just come to the college for exams.     The college's faculty members are always supportive and the study system is easily understandable. All the laboratory and classrooms are well maintained. The college provides all the students similar importance. This college also has an anti-ragging committee, so that any kind of abusing incident never occurs here and the college also has a really hygienic canteen.... Read Full Review

  • One of the Best Colleges in North 24 Parganas
     

    Overall Rating
    This is one of the best educational institutions in North 24 Parganas. The infrastructure is great with greatly able faculties and management. It is one of the branches of Techno Main Salt lake. The course fees of this college are very low compared to other colleges and universities. The course fees may be less but the infrastructure is great so I chose this college.... Read Full Review
