Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies B.Tech Review By Rekkala Srikanth

I am from the university of RGUKT Ongole and currently I am studying 4th year of B.Tech at RGUKT Ongole. It is all about 6 years of integrated B.Tech in which 2 years of PUC graduation and 4 years of B.Tech presented. From my 6th class I was much interested on information technologies here is the chance to enhance my skill and interest. So I was much interest on RGUKT.

In PUC level graduation only one course is available for all of us that are MPC. There is no other course for us at the PUC level graduation. In B.Tech we have 6 types of courses such as CSE, ME, CIVIL, ECE, MECH, and CE. To get entry to RGUKT the main requirement is to get good marks in 10th class public examinations. Those who get good grading in 10th class they can be eligible to apply for this RGUKT seat. Main motive for enrolling in RGUKT program is to provide high quality education for poor people.

We have 6 faculty members for every 100 students. Based on their environment of teaching they may go with teaching for PUC graduates or B.Tech graduates. Most of the faculty members are the M.Tech graduates and Ph.D certification holder. Based upon their knowledge they will take certain subject to teach. Most of the times the Ph.D holder is going to teach for B.Tech students.

Yes. We have a placement cell at our institute and it is currently running by a placement in charge. 30-40 percentages of students are getting jobs through companies which are coming through the placement cell. It is helping the students to achieve their goals.

Yes. We have residential facilities in our institute. For each room 4-6 students are presented based upon the size of the room. We are paying 16000 per year for hostel. We have good enough washrooms, water cooler and some more required things. We are living in rented college known as SSN engineering college which has good infrastructure.

We don't have own campus buildings and we are living for a rent. We have 3 types of buildings. Our university structure looks like Taj Mahal. Each and every building contains 4 floors with good infrastructure. Our university has 100 meters of radius rounded ground in which multiple sports can be played. z

Currently I am studying 4th year of B.Tech and it is all about end of my graduation at RGUKT Ongole. Throughout my academic journey I have gained much knowledge in Technologies like Python, MySQL, JS, and React JS etc. Every year 1000 students will be added into RGUKT ONGOLE and 1000 will get passed out from campus. We have two clubs known as Connect_techies to share information of IT field and another one is O18_Officials to share updates of academics. For every year we celebrate a fest known as ORNATE which has a special meaning itself. We also have some activities like Yoga, Singing etc.
