Greater Noida Institute of Technology B.Tech Review By Shivang Saxena

The GNIOT campus is famous for its B.Tech program and MBA in Greater Noida. The college does have many other programs but these two are well acknowledged within Greater Noida campuses. There are no personal issues of mine with the GNIOT campus but to be honest, the faculty is not very supporting in the B.Tech department. Each faculty is just bothered about the job and placement and treats the students accordingly. The most essential thing that matters to them is the job only. So, my personal experience says that the one issue faced in the college is the faculty members otherwise the campus overall best in infrastructure, classrooms and hostel facilities.

The academic structure of the campus is best among all the other colleges in Greater Noida. The knowledge provided to the students is beyond the books. The education level of the campus is 50-50 and is highly recommended for the Mechanical students. It is not that good for the other branches, the reason being the other branch’s students are not given any practical knowledge and they just have to mug up the whole syllabus. Professors keeps the students busy in doing some activities related to the academics which makes them get ready for the examination. The students find themselves lazy while achieving the need of 75% attendance which is the hardest thing to do. But the students have to gain internal grades from the college so they are compelled to achieve this goal somehow.

The faculty is not good, the reason being every student is facing this problem which is needed to be changed as soon as possible. The GNIOT B.Tech department is facing this problem as the faculty gives a lot of pressure on students but they provide less time to the students for the completion of work. Faculty is needed to understand that the students are required to have knowledge in the campus. The department is facing the problem and most of the students face it by the faculties. The faculty is totally non supportive in the campus.

The placement of the GNIOT campus is up to mark. As the campus is having a good recruiter which visits the college to select the best candidates for their companies. Each student is satisfied with the working of the placement cells. According to my personal experience you must have a high level of confidence in front of the examiners and the recruiters. Although, the academic performance matters a lot but in front of examiners the confidence level is also taken under consideration. They select the candidates on the basis of personality, knowledge, and the confidence. So, the placement is the best part of the GNIOT campus. The placements are around 80% in the campus where students are satisfied with the placements.

The hostel of the campus is overall good. As I was a regular student and was in the list of day scholar, so I never got the chance to live in hostel. But some of my classmates are in hostels, they always used to appreciate about the food they are getting in the mess. The food quality was the best in the hostel of GNIOT campus. There are both kinds of rooms as such AC and non-AC in the hostel and the charges are also different for both the type of rooms. Therefore, there was not much to worry about the security and accommodation as the hostel is located within the campus premises. The GNIOT campus is having the best hostel facilities when compared to the other colleges in Greater Noida.

The infrastructure of the campus is overall good. The GNIOT campus has a huge ground for organizing the sports fest and the events. The canteen is also there in the campus which provides a good quality food. As I was basketball player, every time whenever there was a free lecture, I used to play basketball. There is a ground for volleyball also. Generally, in my views the infrastructure of the campus is finest.

The life of the campus is very joyful and enjoyable. Each student has the choice which is different from other. There is a regular celebration of the festival irrespective of the religion. The students living in the hostel have a fun life in the campus. Since no outsider is allowed in the campus of the GNIOT Greater Noida, it is safe for the students. The campus life is fully enjoyable and great big memories were made by me in the campus.
