As a 2nd year student of the CSE department, this college also has its own pros and cons. So let’s talk about the pros - overall this college is helpful and it is situated in eco friendly environment where you can focus on study without any distraction. The classes are well ventilated, allowing for refreshing airflow, creates comfortable environment. The faculties are well mannered and approaching. But the bad thing about this college is, the playground is too small to play. They do not provide internet connection and some of the professor’s behaviour is quite unimpressive.

The course I'm pursuing is Computer Science Engineering (CSE). I gave West Bengal joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) in 2023 and secured 90574 rank. Then I got selected in this college Techno Engineering College Banipur and choose B.Tech. This course fee is 2.5 lakh (2023 batch) now its 3.5 lakh for 4 years. It’s quite cheaper than other engineering colleges & that's the advantage of choosing this college. Techno Engineering College- Banipur, WBJEE cut-off 2023 for general category is 84618 - 889944 rank. And JEE Main cut-off 2023 is 622331 - 821549 rank. Reason of doing B.Tech is my problem solving activities. You know today's industry is fond of technologies, & I am much interested in computer technologies since childhood.

The overall faculty member’s performance is quite unimpressive. But some of them are jewel. They teaching us the best they can do. They use touch screen monitor (digitally) to teach us practically, understandable way, and it's more attractive to learn things deeply as well. This college has various types of laboratories which provide us to deeply study things like chemistry - physics lab, computer labs, digital electronics lab, mechanical workshop, etc.

No, our college has no Placement Cell. It's a branch of Techno India Main, Salt lake.

Personally I didn't stay in hostel, but some of my classmates have live there. The overall review of hostel is average. The living rent is the most hepatic thing is hostels.

The building is quite impressive. Its 3 storey building. Each blocks and rooms are clean and dust free. The sunlight can go through all of the rooms. Our college premises is medium but the playground is too short to play. It provides air conditioning system some of the classes (from 2023 batch). Our canteen is situated nearby and it provides various types of foods. The library section is quite impressive, we can study books in that area and much peaceful & strict place.

Our college organises Fresher’s Party for 1st year students, Fests, Tree Plantation Program, Blood Donation Camp, Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan, and many more educational seminars. Recently a wonderful seminar by Hackathon organised in our college seminar. Many outsiders visits our college. I personally interested in poster competition and quiz contest.
