Overall Review of Ambalika Institute of Management and Technology, Lucknow

Overall Rating
Ambalika is affiliated to AKTU university and its prime focus is on its education. The college is located a bit far away from the main city (Lucknow). It has decent classrooms and all labs and facilities but not up to the mark, they won't meet your expectations. The campus is large but do not have a proper ground for sports. The fine system in this college is ridiculous. College canteen and staff are really decent.
 

Academics Rating
I am currently pursuing Bachelor of Technology in computer science and I would assure you that this college taught me how to study and get maximum marks. They motivated us to go for extracurricular but at the same time, they do not allow us to leave the lecture hall. It was two-sided sword play in first year. Academics are necessary but they should introduce us to the real world as well.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are dedicated towards the students. They provide a good class environment. Their friendly nature is the real attractive feature, they are really helpful, and they will help even if they don't know you or have never taught you. All of them have their own style of teaching but to be honest, we cannot compare them with each other.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a Placement Cell in our college. It's for students from third year and final year. The college even provides with seminars, workshop, and webinars to improve ourselves and helps the students to acquire jobs and opportunities in their industry.
 

Hostel Rating
I stayed in my college hostel for two years and I would say, yes, I recommend staying in hostel if you're from another city. The hostel facilities are not how you expect but please know that you are not living in a hotel. Hostel has its own rules and regulations and everyone needs to follow them. The outing timings are 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college campus is large but not very well built up. The roads and pathways are not up to the mark, if we keep it in mind that it's a private university to begin with. The seminar hall is not even big enough to have seats for all CSE students; it is way too small for a hall. Overall the infrastructure is acceptable.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is above average if you ask a student of Ambalika. There are various clubs like dance club, singing club, dramatics club, SAE club (for technical events), Enigma club (for technical events and opportunities), and even horse riding club. College even provides opportunity for National cadet corps NCC, which is great exposure. The college hosts all cultural events such as Annual event, cultural events, tech events, freshers, and sports events.

    Overall review is good because it provides us the better facilities related to our UG course and having a big campus with play grounds and all with indoor sports room too. Sports and events were held in every semester for nourishment of students and encouraging them by providing medals and certificates.     College campus is very big and beautiful. Best Facilities provide in my college. Faculties are excellent and they care for each student, help every weak student to study well.     In this institute, the campus is fully greenery. In this institute, there is a huge ground. Here there are 4-5 courts for different sports like badminton, volleyball, basketball, football, and a big ground for cricket. Campus of this institute is fully equipped with wifi.     My overall experience is very bad with this college because we are not having extra time to learn the technical skills and bachelor subjects also. Because of the college timing from 9 to 4:40. We have to maintain 75% attendance and in between the college timing we can't go anywhere. The only option is half day leave but for it you need 6 to 8 signatures from this floor to that.
