My college pros and cons: A real inside view

Overall Rating
I am a Bachelor of Arts student (education honors). Overall it is a much disciplined college. Surendranath College is known for its rich academic heritage and diverse student community. The institution has a reputation for providing a well-rounded education, blending theoretical knowledge with practical knowledge. I have various insights about it. There is no ragging there. Many seniors are there to help us.
 

Academics Rating
For the entry requirements it is not much hard. You have to score number of 60% above in 12th boards. I am preparing for teaching related profession so it will be helpful for me to get in the job with this qualification in education honors. The pursuit of an honors education often stems from a desire to deepen one's knowledge in a specific field, engage in more advanced coursework, and develop critical thinking and research skills.
 

Faculty Rating
Our teachers are highly educated. Surendranath College is like a place where students learn stuff. The teachers are cool, and you get to understand things better. It's not just about books; they make learning interesting, like painting a colorful picture of education for everyone. They teach us in very elegant way in both Bengali and English language. They explain everything we want to know and never behave rude with us.
 

Placement Rating
There is not a dedicated placement cell in our college but it provides a good quality placement for technical courses but not for our course.
 

Hostel Rating
I live in a nearby place so I travel daily to college. But my friends live in nearby hostels there is no dedicated hostel for us by the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Surendranath College impresses with its solid infrastructure. The classrooms are well-equipped, creating a conducive environment for learning. The college also pays attention to student needs with well-maintained amenities. Most of the infrastructure is well managed but the bathroom are not quite good
 

Campus Rating
Campus is very large. It has a big playground. Surendranath College boasts a lively campus buzzing with energy. From the hustle of students rushing to classes to the serene corners for quiet study, it offers a diverse field of both knowledge and social interaction. Moreover the library is very big and has lots of books which we can avail at any time and read there in the peaceful environment. There are many clubs for students in the college.

    My college experience is average. It's a semi government college so it can be a good choice for students. I chose this college because it is the best college near my house. You need to get more than 70% for general category to get into this college. The college hosts many seminars and the environment of the college is very nice.     It's a very good college that provides best courses at reasonable fees and there are autonomous courses too. They always put students forward as they think about them very much and also it's the first college in West Bengal to enter 5th NAAC cycle.
