My college experience of Techno India University

Overall Rating
I am a B.Tech student. I have good scores in class 13th but not a good JEE or WBJEE Rank so I tried for private colleges it might be beneficial due to factors like diverse academic programs, experienced faculty, modern infrastructure, industry connections for practical exposure, and a supportive learning environment. Besides it provides you with good environment.
 

Academics Rating
I am B.Tech CSE student. But for all the B.Tech students the first year remains same means everyone has to do same things in their first year. As AI is the new future, I have chosen it for me. Its eligible requirements are not that much high WBJEE Rank of 30k is enough for desired course. You should have a good 12th score which is above 70% and will be more than eligible for it.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty at Techno India University demonstrates commendable expertise in their respective fields. Their teaching methods are engaging. However, feedback on them can be given by students. The faculty's dedication to students' success is evident, but clearer communication channels could enhance the overall and the one issue I face is. Inspire of their high qualification very few teacher can really engage the way I mentioned. Most of them are good but few are brilliant.
 

Placement Rating
Yes I have a dedicated placement cell in our college. Techno India University's placement statistics indicate a diverse range, with an average of 4 to 5 lakh, a highest of 22 lakh (Goldman Sachs), and a lowest of 1.8 lakh (Wipro). I have this inside info because when my friend applied for bank loan he had to get a placement chart. From there I knew all this inside news
 

Hostel Rating
I currently pursue my course from home but my friends attended Techno India University and found that while the university itself doesn't provide PG or hostel facilities, there are numerous options available. The nearby hostels and PG accommodations offer a variety of choices to suit different preferences and budgets. The convenience of having multiple options ensures that students can find a comfortable and suitable place to stay while pursuing their studies at Techno India. The transport is very much fine so it is very convenient living nearby
 

Infrastructure Rating

As technology advances, so does the university's commitment to providing a cutting-edge infrastructure that supports the holistic development of its diverse student body.
 

Campus Rating
Students often engage in clubs, events, and cultural programs, fostering a lively atmosphere. The institution usually encourages innovation and participation in tech-related competitions like hackathon, enhancing the overall learning experience. There are many clubs for dance drawing photography acting and many more.

    My experience at Techno India University as a student has been average overall. Some aspects of the university were worth commending, such as fests, extracurricular activities, student-faculty interaction, and campus life. However, the infrastructure is not advanced, especially for disciplines requiring wet lab training. Although, the university is making tremendous efforts in introducing Artificial Intelligence.     The college is at Salt Lake, Kolkata which is very well connected with the rest of the city via road and metro transport. The college has friendly faculty members and quite an easy admission procedure. The college also has good placement opportunities for the students.     My overall experience in TIU is very good. We have a very good and balanced campus life. Our faculties are very friendly and helpful.     Overall Rating
    Place: Salt Lake Sector V is an Automotive zone. Metro, Bus, Taxi are available to reach there. Metro takes 20 min from sealdah and charges 20 rupees only. Instead of taking the bus from Sealdah you can take it from Bidhan Nagar to reach there early and it takes only 15 rupees. Infrastructure: In the Techno India Group, Sector V's campus has the best infrastructure. Swimming pool, Play Ground, a huge place to seat in between of trees and all types of fun activities you can do.... Read Full Review

    Overall, obviously other renowned college's degree has more value but techno India will provide you with best in class grooming. For my subject the hands on lab experience were good. One can rely on that. Ragging and bullying was a problem before, but strict actions have been taken against it all the times.... Read Full Review
