My Views On Graphic Era

Overall Rating
Graphic Era has always shown great results in terms of placement of B.TECH students and that's what motivated me to pursue my higher education in Graphic Era. And surely, it was a great experience for me. Coming from Uttarakhand and an army background, I got a huge scholarship which helped me more. I got to interact with the so many talented individuals here who are all striving to bring the best result and that provided us a push to always explore new things. The location of college is also in Dehradun and weather also stays very cool making it a comfortable place to stay.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.TECH CSE considering the lucrative placements for that course in past 5 years. I had PCM in class 12th and 75% above in all three PCM subjects making me eligible to opt for B.TECH CSE. This course provided me real world industrial knowledge relevant to the changing world and kept us engaged in practical work as well to make us more comfortable about our subjects. The syllabus is well framed and will allow you to learn different things as well according to your interests.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are very knowledgeable and understanding. They allow us to explore our different interests and commitments along with providing us all the resources necessary to excel in exams. They keep us fully updated about any events and future important dates and are always there to guide us. Teaching style is a mix of practical approach and theoretical approach. They try to make practical labs fun and encourages us to bring our own projects in order to have a clear understanding of the concept.
 

Placement Rating
Placement of B.TECH students is top notch with highest package begin offered around 89 lakh. For girls, there are better opportunities here. They easily get a good placement and it also encourages the parents to send their daughters for higher education in Graphic Era. The company comes with different kind of roles all encompassing the skill sets of each and every student here.
 

Hostel Rating
I am a day scholar and do not reside in Hostels. However, I have known this from my counterparts that hostel facilities is good and quality wise also top notch. The hostel provides security to the students. Well furnished hostels and the security is top notch.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is so grand and modern that will make you think it’s some bollywood kind of college. That true, many shooting are done here as well. It’s totally equipped with all the facilities and has all the safety features at frequent distances. The central hall allows students to see various activities happening at one place and has a grand library with all kind of books. Canteen is vast enough to occupy large masses and the ground is also well maintained for students to involve in various physical activities. You will always get some great places to explore in Graphic Era.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very vibrant. Everyone is engaged in different activities and makes you motivated to explore more of your interests. There are various societies and college clubs for your all kind of interests. Sport club involves cricket, football and badminton. There are 2 fests in collage, one is winter fest and second is summer fest.

    I chose this college as I could not clear JEE. If you are from Uttarakhand, you might know about GEHU. It offers academic scholarships to all the students based on their score in class 12th. GEHU offers good placements and is affordable so I chose this college. If you are a student from Uttarakhand, you should go for GEHU as it is quite affordable in comparison to other colleges like UPES, DIT, and others.
