My Life at Utkal University, Bhubaneswar

Overall Rating
Utkal University is a renowned university in Odisha. Its college campus is very good and large. It has play grounds both indoor and outdoor like stadium with gym facilities. This college not only focuses on studies but also focus on sports. It has very good team in every type of sports like cricket, basketball, etc.
 

Academics Rating
This university has nearly every type of department for study. The good part is every course is through entrances, so the students have not worry about their academic percentage. Every department has good culture and supportive teachers. This college has very affordable price for both self finance and regular courses.
 

Faculty Rating
These college faculties are very supportive and well experienced. Utkal University students are very actively involved in politics and social activities because the teachers are very supportive in this. They always encourage students not only academic studies but also extracurricular activities. That’s why our university students are successful in various fields.
 

Placement Rating
Utkal University is not very good in placements. It has average 3 - 4 LPA. This college only invites local companies for hiring students and no internship in course.
 

Hostel Rating
Utkal University has very affordable hostel price with good infrastructure. Hostel is clean in every morning by workers. Every hostel has small play ground for playing badminton and volleyball and also has game like carom board and chess.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Utkal university has every type of facility in campus area. Like food junctions, library, play ground, and everything. It has newly opened an e-library and central canteen. It has very beautiful park called Gandhi Memorial Park. It has a very big stadium called Biju Patnaik Stadium for every type of sports.
 

Campus Rating
In Utkal University students are actively involved in politics so it has always chaos and violence between students in different parties otherwise it has very good campus life for fun and making friends. It has conduct very good and grand events in campus. Each department has their own functions for celebrate.

    Utkal University is definitely a good choice if one is passionate about clearing government exams or interested in Odisha Judicial Services.     My overall review is I would say this is a very old and reputed institute in Odisha and the environment is very good and the campus life is just awesome.     Utkal University is the first and only University in odisha which got NAAC A+ rating. Campus is very beautiful, but maximum part is covered with trees. It focuses mainly on PG Courses.
