Overall Rating
St. Thomas College Of Engineering And Technology is a very prestigious and a very well reputed college. The atmosphere here is very good as well as the faculty. The facilities here are limited but enough good for students. This institution may be strict but it’s very well known for their successful alumni and the placements. Students got their job from this college in different companies.
 

Academics Rating
The course I am in is B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. In this 4 years course you can explore the vast knowledge about the bridge or gap between the hardware and the software part of the computer. I enrolled in this college by the process of online West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination counseling and passing the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of the Electronics and Communication Engineering is quite good. The teachers are very well qualified and they know how to get attention from students and inspire them to study well and motivate them properly. Every one of them has their unique set of skills. They are very much qualified in case of teaching as well.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of this college is quite adequate and very well maintained. There is a library, a canteen, a boy’s common room and a girl's common room, a drawing hall, and washrooms. There is also a workshop here which is separated from the main building. The food quality of the canteen is quite good and the budget there is pocket friendly.
 

Campus Rating
This college certainly holds many seminars, different types’ sports tournaments and different types of competition. There are also fresher’s and annual fests which are organized by seniors every year. There are also sports tournaments like football, badminton, cricket and table tennis which are organized by the higher ups.

    Till now my experience with this college is quite good. If I have any difficulties or doubts with any subject, I can approach the respective professors at any time. You must follow rules and regulations like dress code, beard, 75% attendance, if not then the fine will be considered, same as the school policy. You will feel like you are studying in the school rather than the college. Preferably, choosing this college was worth it as it was a better college nearer to me. After graduating from here...     I took admission in this college in 2022, through WBJEE entrance exam. I took admission here in computer science and engineering branch. In my year closing cut-off of this CSE branch was closed at nearly 17000-18000 rank.     Overall Rating
    College faculty is decent; they are friendly and helpful. The classroom and laboratory of electrical department are decent compared to other departments especially CSE, IT, and AIML. The library has a large quantity of books but the faculty is not nice there. I haven't gone there after my 3rd semester as they take fine for keeping the book past the due date. College takes fine for low attendance as well so be attentive if you are going to enroll in this college.... Read Full Review
