Insights of Netaji Subhash Engineering College

Overall Rating
NSEC is performing well as compared to other private colleges around. It is situated at Techno city about 2 km from Garia railway station. It completed 25 years. This college has a strong alumini network working at various reputed companies. They share their journey which is very helpful for us. Moreover this college is affiliated to MAKAUT.
 

Academics Rating
Individual having a valid WBJEE/JEE MAIN rank can take admission in the institute. 10% seats are filled by management quota. After the WBJEE counseling results, you need to visit the college admission department with certain documents like photo ID card, allotment letter, rank card, 12th mark sheet. Total 4 yrs fee is 625000 for BTECH CSE, AI ML, CSBS, IT.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are more or less good. Teaching method is excellent. Most of them are highly qualified and holding Ph.D degree and some are pursuing the same. Most of them are from reputed institutes like Jadavpur University, Calcutta University, IIEST, etc. Also Faculty: student ratio is very good. Overall faculties are very good.

Yes, the college has a placement cell mentoring students to get placements.

Infrastructure Rating
Campus at NSEC is very small as compared to other private colleges within the state. There are very small playground and recently opened small canteen. Campus is clean and classrooms are equipped with Projectors and A.C. Other facilities like library and study room is also there. The library has books of both latest and old patterns.
 

Campus Rating
As mentioned earlier, NSEC has a relatively small campus area. But there are lots of clubs within the college which help students to grow in every field other than academics. Some of the clubs are Phoenix, GDSC, Eco Cultural, Sports Club, etc. Yearly annual fest held every renounced artist is invited. Also there are tech clubs which helps students to involve in tech related actives.

    I am B.Tech 1st year student of ECE at NSEC. The college has well developed infrastructure with all educational amenities, also well trained and cooperative faculties.     Although our college don't have much bigger campus but in this small campus we have bunch of opportunities. We have so many clubs from tech. to cultural, from athletes to board game so many.
