The most important phase in any student's life is his/her college years. Because in that phase, he/she learns so much about the real world accompanied with good and bitter experiences. The classes, the annual events and all the festivals that are celebrated in college life create a bunch of beautiful memories which you can go back to anytime. COEP is no less in enhancing one's college life experience. With the good staff, better facilities and resources, COEP has been really helpful in shaping many students' futures. COEP provides great opportunities for its students to grow and develop their talent in many ways. The technical events such as Mindspark are the best way to create interest for studies with fun amongst students.

Autonomous Engineering College like COEP has different departments and fields for engineering such as Civil, Computer and IT, Instrumentation and Control, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Metallurgy and Material Science, etc. I studied Civil Engineering and have just completed my degree course this year in 2021. We did some projects throughout the 4 years of degree. Projects like Synonymities Between Astronomical Histories of India and Japan, Residential Construction on Mars Using 3D Printing Aiding Mars, Colonization. This project exposed us to different aspects and cultures we can explore in Civil Engineering which is indeed very helpful for me as a student. Some of my classmates also got the opportunity to be a part of the organising committee for ISRO space exhibition in 2019.

The COEP faculty has a good number of staff. Most of the faculty are PhD holders. But knowing things and teaching them are two different things. Most of the teachers are supportive here as the college is autonomous. The knowledge that faculty members had about their respective subject process to be really helpful in projects sanga research paper guidance. Some teachers, a minority, are involved in research mostly in the Physics division in the Applied Science Department. One thing that I strongly feel about is the need for class tests. The faculty should take more class tests or unit tests that will keep checking students with the syllabus. The faculty staff is very supportive and encouraging when it comes to that. When you need their help in assignments or projects, they are there to help most of it.

Every year many big companies come to COEP for recruiting some of the best students in their companies. Those students who truly want to get a placement in such companies leave no stone unturned in their hard work required for the placement. The faculty staff is very supportive and helpful when it comes to making students ready for the recruitment interviews. Companies like Google, Microsoft are there for placement every year with handsome packages. Getting placement in such companies is tough but not impossible.

The COEP college has a hostel near the college itself which literally saves the time wasted on transport. All 4 years of engineering, I stayed in hostel and to be honest I have my share of good and bad experiences as well. In the hostel, I met many good friends and created some of the greatest ever lasting friendships with students that were with me. Hostel life is so fun when it comes to friendships. The COEP hostel has a mess. I don't like the food in the mess, telling the truth, but had no choice other than to swallow it. The hostel doesn't have anything or any facilities for entertainment. Though engineering students don't need something to entertain them but it would have been better if they had any. The hostel is not great at maintenance stuff. We used to clean our rooms which is something the hostel would have done.

The COEP college has well maintained and beautiful infrastructure. It also gives you the vibes that should be there to create a collage environment. The college has a mix of old and new infrastructure. Even though the buildings which are ancient, are kept well maintained and neat. The new and old both the buildings are provided with good facilities. The classrooms are literally huge and equipped with all the digital resources which are helpful in digital learning. The college also has a canteen, which also is kept hygienic. As I said, I don't like mess food hence don't like the food in the canteen as well. The college has an awesome library and we have ample amounts of books there. There is a whole section for the library. The library has different magazines and daily newspapers. The college infrastructure is surrounded with lots of greenery.

The greenery in the whole campus makes it look really cool. The campus is spacious and kept clean of any garbage or clutter. The campus area is well decorated with different types of trees which are unique and provides shade to some of the building.
