I choose this college, Budge Budge Institute of Technology. As I can reach Budge Budge railway station via train from Sealdah. The college has also free Wi-Fi service. So every students and faculties can use whenever it is necessary. The campus is very neat and clean. The campus also has playground so we can play any sports in that ground whenever we want. The canteen is also very neat and clean and healthy food is prepared with care.

The college has three courses. First course: DIPLOMA (POLYTECHNIC). The diploma has several streams like: electrical, civil, electronics, mechanical, Computer science and technology. The eligibility criteria of diploma are same for all streams. The eligibility criteria is, students have to pass class 10 from any recognized board and also have to sit for the JEXPO exam. Second course: Bachelors in Technology (Engineering). The engineering also have several streams like: electrical, civil, mechanical, electronics, computer science, information technology, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and cyber security. The eligibility criteria for all engineering streams are same. The eligibility criteria is, students have to pass class 12 from any recognized board and also have to sit for WBJEE or JEE mains exam. In case of lateral entry, students have to pass 3 years diploma from any college and also have to sit for the JELET exam. Third course: Masters in Technology and Masters of Business Administration (M.Tech and MBA). The eligibility criteria of masters in technology, students have to pass engineering (B.Tech) from any recognized University and have to sit for GATE examination. The eligibility criteria of masters of business administration are: students have to pass B.Tech (engineering) or BBA from any recognized University and have to sit for CAT examination.

In the college there are many faculties for each subject. Faculties are different in case of diploma and engineering and masters. They have one of the best faculties in Kolkata. Many faculties have graduated from IIT, NIT, IIIT, Jadavpur University, etc. Some faculties also have experience in teaching in many recognised University as well as IIT, NIT, IIIT, and Jadavpur University.

The Placement Cell of the college helps the student to get their favourite job after the completion of course. The college is also one of the best, in giving placements in one of the best companies.

The college also has hostel facilities for all students. Students can live with their friends in hostel. The hostel's warden and security works 24/7 for safety of students. The hostel also has CCTV cameras. Students can choose rooms as desires. Students can live with minimum 3 people and maximum up to 6 people in a room. Most of the rooms have toilet and bathroom inside and rest have separated common toilet and bathroom for all. The hostel has four floors. In the canteen, food is also prepared with care. The staffs are very friendly with student. Students get breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner from the canteen daily. There are no water problems in hostel. Each room has bed, study tables, lights, fans, almirah, etc. for each students.

The college has two blocks. One is academic block and the second is admin block. The academic block is made of 5 floors. Each floor has 15 classes with faculty room as well. Each floor has laboratory as well. Each floor represents different streams. Many classes have air conditioner. Entrepreneurship cells, innovation cells, projector class, and common room are also there. Each floor has both boys and girls toilet. Lift is also available in academic block. Second is admin block, the admin block is made up of 4 floors. The admin block consists of examination cell, placement cell, seminar hall, principal office, etc. The top floor of admin block is the college library. In library all students can take books of their stream and also can study there. Lift is also available in admin block. Outside of these two blocks, the college also has playground, swimming pool, basketball court, tennis court, gym, and auditorium.

The campus life of the college is very good. Many clubs are in the college like coders club, etc. Students can easily join in this clubs and participate in inter College competitions as well as the competition which take places in different colleges. Every month, college hosts competitions for different club. The college takes students who play very well in cricket, football, etc. to various competitions in other colleges. Also the college hosts two tournaments of cricket and football respectively per year. The annual fest of the college is one of the best in Kolkata. Top artists and singers come to the college to perform. The four day of the annual fest consist of many activities as well as artists and singers performing per day.
