I have joined prestigious Dyal Singh College in August through CUET entrance exam. Earlier people can take admission in it by merit but from 2022 Delhi University's administration decides to conduct entrance exam for admission in its affiliated colleges. I have been enjoying my time at Dyal Singh, it's a very good college I think. Look one cannot choose their preferred college and course, what happens is Delhi University allot you college and course according to your CUET score, preference, selection, and category. You just have to take entrance and fill your preference list. For example I have scored 718 out of 800 in entrance and Dyal Singh was at 11 in my preference list, apparently I got Dyal Singh and I was satisfied with it. I want to say that please focus on your entrance exam and try to get best college possible. As a Dyal Singh's student I would suggest you to come here and be a part of unforgettable journey. College is best in various ways like it has so many facilities like library, auditorium, sport ground, canteen, etc. People are so friendly and helpful in nature. I got some friends here in very short time. You should take admission in that course and college in which you have interest.

It offers wide range courses like B.Com, B.Com Honours, B.Sc Honours, Maths Honours, BA Economics Honours, BA English Honours, and many more courses. Every course is best if you have interest in it. For taking admission in B.Com Honours one should have studied accountancy or mathematics as compulsory subject in 12 and for Economics Honours mathematics is compulsory. I will recommend you to visit college website for more information about eligibility for various programmes. B.Com Honours and Economics Honours are best in terms of placement and one can find placements in B.Com too. Please choose course based on your interest. I am from commerce background and most of I love studying commerce. If you love your work then no power can stop you from succeeding.

Teachers are helping hands in every college. Dyal Singh College has one of the largest faculties in Delhi University. Teachers are helpful and supportive in nature. Each faculty member has necessary qualifications and experience in their respective area of work. Teachers are talented and are very prominent in teaching and conducting examinations. Recently my subject teacher helped me in completing my assignments and projects and they also told us what the most important questions in relation to examination are. I respect all teachers of my college.

Yes, Dyal Singh College has a good Placement Cell that helps its student to get placed in reputed companies. Placement Cell of Dyal Singh College is a collaborative team of college students and college authorities that invites reputed companies like Wipro, Infotech, EY, and many more in various disciplines like marketing, finance, and accounting. According to 2023 data college's average placement was 6 LPA and highest package went upto 36 LPA. Approximately 110+ students got placed. One can also get internship at Dyal Singh College. Placement Cell helps you to groom yourself in accordance with companies’ requirements.

Most of DU colleges have hostel facility but sorry to say that Dyal Singh College does not provide hostel facility. We have talked to our principal regarding this and believe me by 4 years Dyal Singh College will provide hostel facility too.

Infrastructure play important roles in every college. Dyal Singh has largest library in Delhi University. You can find infrastructure like library, auditorium, sport ground, sport complex, classrooms, canteen, gardens, amphitheatre, etc. Dyal Singh College has academics blocks for every single discipline. It has separate science block, art block, and commerce block. It has computer lab and science lab. Some classes are air-conditioned.

You can find crowd from all over India. Dyal Singh College has capacity of 3000 students. Because it conducts various disciplines so college is very crowded and energetic. I'm studying in it since 6 months and I have witnessed amazing crowd here. You can learn traditions and culture of other regions of India by your friends. Dyal Singh College has so many societies that help students to build themselves and gain experience in various fields. I have remembered that fresher party where I have seen huge crowd and some mind blowing performances. Interestingly fest season starts usually during April in our college.
