Review on Calcutta Institute of Technology, Howrah

Overall Rating
Firstly, I have admitted in this college because it is on the NH 6 and comparatively near to my house than other engineering colleges. There is only this reason for studding here.
 

Academics Rating
Academic is average. Any one will get all the basic courses in engineering at B.Tech and diploma level. If anyone wants to study here they can admit here by WBJEE or JEE mains rank card but also you can do a direct admission. The whole course fee in the B.Tech curriculum will be approx 3 lakh to 3.5 lakh for 4 years. Whoever searching for a college just for basic engineering degree nothing extra ordinary and a college beside the national highway they can check this college.
 

Faculty Rating
Even though the academic is average but I have to say that the most of the faculties are above average. Most of them are graduated from top NITs, Jadavpur, KIT college, etc. Every teacher has their own unique style of teaching and all of them have extraordinary teaching experiences.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, my college has a Placement Cell and it help students to get placed by a basic job with a 3.5 LPA package (normally). In our college we get special aptitude classes for cracking any kind of placement exams and interviews.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our campus has mainly two buildings. First is the admission building and second the academics building. In the admission building happens all kind of admission, fees related things. In academic building we have our classrooms, lab rooms, teacher staff room and workshop, seminar room, and sports room for indoor sports.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life is average not bad not that much good. The overall student crowd is comparatively low in every branch with respect to other tier 2 colleges. But also our college is a tier 3 college so this is fine I think. We get annually two big programs first one is fest and the second one is sports day. In this college you will get numerous amount of opportunity for extracurricular activities.

    Hello, Myself Rishav here. After passing my diploma I got admitted in Calcutta Institute of Technology which is situated in Uluberia, Howrah beside of the NH-6. If you asked about the college in one word I would say it's very different from other engineering colleges where no ragging and no extra pressure of the fame of private colleges.
