Review on University of Calcutta, Kolkata

Overall Rating
After completing higher secondary, I choose Calcutta University because this university provides a standard education to the students. I spent 3 years in the college and I got the best quality education which I needed. I will suggest the students who have completed higher secondary to choose this university for their best experience.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Bachelor of Arts in this university when I have completed Higher secondary. There was a process of admission which we had gone through. There admission process was through online and there was 3 merit lists. The students who can pass in this merit list they can take admission in the college.
 

Faculty Rating
We had a well qualified, inspiring, motivational, and student’s friendly team of teachers. They provide a well quality education to all the students. They are very punctual and well behaved. Whenever we needed help they helped us as they can. They motivated us for grow in future which help us in our future life.
 

Infrastructure Rating
My college was Amta Ramsaday college under Calcutta University. The college campus is not so big but it is well maintained and clean campus. There is specific building for different subjects. Inside the campus there are canteen facilities for students. And there is a library for the students and in the library there are sufficient books of different writers.
 

Campus Rating
I have many memories in the college campus. There are many clubs in the college. Dance club, rotaract club, etc. In the college there is an annual fest which is organised by the college. Many famous artists as singer, dancer, etc. are invited in the fest. We have enjoyed a lot in such fest in our college with our friends.

    University of Calcutta is one of the top-notch universities of this country for sure. The student teacher ratio is 1:20. This university has produced numerous notable alumni like JC Bose, SN Bose, Meghnad Saha, etc. It has one of the best ROI investments in B.Tech courses in this country.     I appeared for WBJEE in 2023 and got a rank of 7332. I opted for University of Calcutta and got admitted in instrumentation Engineering. My over all experience has been excellent. Campus (salt lake) is new and beautiful, classes are air-conditioned, etc. One should definitely take admission if he/she wants to pursue a B.Tech course without hefty fees.... Read Full Review

    I have been a first year student at University of Calcutta for B.Tech course. This University is good for students who are from economically weak background as this college has very less fees. This college provides a wonderful opportunity to students for internship and placements.     First of all, it's one of the finest colleges for B.Tech in West Bengal. Its academic is not so tough, even average students will be able to enrol very easily. Faculties are very understanding and helpful. Internship start from 5th semester and almost 100% eligible candidates get placed. Hostel facility is very nice, there is no ragging as such, food is good enough. Infrastructure and campus life is alright. So, a choice for others.... Read Full Review

    This university has always been considered as one of the premier academic institutions of the country. It is active in the field of academics, research and also placements. The placement cell is a dedicated body of individuals known to be continuously working and striving towards the success of its students.
