Review on Asansol Engineering College, Asansol

Overall Rating
I choose this college as my relatives and seniors recommended but when they were the student that time conditions were different but now conditions are very much different. Overall experience is not good. It is an average college. From few years placement condition is also not good. I don't know if the condition turns to better or not.
 

Academics Rating
I am in B.Tech CSE (computer science and engineering). I chose this stream as I had interest in coding and computers. To pursue CSE a student must have science background, it doesn't matter whether you are had computer science or biology as a subject in 11th and 12th. For getting admission in this college you need to appear in WBJEE (if a resident of west Bengal) or JEE the cut-off goes till 40000 so you need to wait till the last round.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are supportive but they are not cooperative. Teaching style is not at all good. 2 out of 10. Teachers teach well and they are disciplined. It is better to stay at home and study through YouTube, time and transportation charge both will be saved. Teachers not at all discuss about skills or placement process, they will focus on attendance and give you marks accordingly for internal marks.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, Placement Cell is there. Companies like TCS hire most of the students although companies like Accenture, Infosys, Virtusa, etc. hire students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is well maintained according to Asansol locality. There is ground, a basketball and volleyball court, air-conditioned labs, and training facility is also organised in the beginning of every semester, parking area is quite good, and overall infrastructure is good. Classrooms and labs are big in the new building (this building is for CSE, IT, AIML, and CSBS) students.
 

Campus Rating
Institute organises fest in the month of July but previous year it was not organised due to fund. No. of students in CSE, IT and, ECE are 180, in ME there are 60 students and in CE there are 30 students. Campus is good. Other activities like events, seminars, etc. occur frequently and competitions occur once in a year along with prizes.

    Asansol Engineering College completed its 25 years last year. This college has awesome faculty members with a well-maintained library. The faculties are very good and have good teaching experience. Also along with academics the college also has good records in sports and extracurricular activities.     Asansol Engineering College is a very good Engineering College located in Asansol. Its infrastructure is well maintained. Currently I am pursuing B.Tech in CSE, and I am in 2nd year.     Asansol Engineering College is one of the best colleges in West Bengal. Currently I'm pursing 2nd year B.Tech CSE at this college, but in my 1.5 years college life, I have gained a lot of experience of this college like it have fully surrounding green environment, sport grounds, different clubs like hardware club, Tech Club, Robotics Club, etc. Overall AEC is an awesome private college....     Asansol Engineering College is one of the well known colleges under JIS and Techno India Group. It is the one of the best and well known engineering college. You can get admission here by the entrance examination like WBJEE and JEE.
