The Bhawanipur Education Society College is situated in Bhawanipur, Kolkata. This is one of the very renowned college of Kolkata. This college gives good placement opportunities, conduct different fests and events, calls different famous celebrities for various functions. Besides all the courses it has many other co-curricular activities. Our college motivates extracurricular activities and conducts programs every month. The 6th floor of the college is only for cultural events such as singing, dance, enact, crafting activities, and events like that. I chose the college because of my course which is taught very well in my college.

I am currently pursuing BA Journalism and Mass Communication. This is a modern subject and has a broad field. This course gives so many opportunities further. A person should get at least 60% marks to get seat in the college, also admission tests are conducted sometimes. The subject contains Print Media, Television, Radio, and New Media and so on. These are a great field to work and get further opportunity for jobs and earn money.

My faculty teachers are well trained and very knowledgeable. Most of them have done their Ph.Ds. Practical teachers are so much talented. They handle all the camera works, editing, lab works, instruments, and the machines very well. One of the faculty teachers even worked in All India Radio. Many of them have worked with well known film directors and producers even for many movies and helped them in their works. We are blessed with such faculty teachers.

Yes, our college does give great placements. Placements are basically very nice for BBA students. Our college brings big companies for interview while students are in 2nd year. They even works for companies itself, sometimes they give internships paid and sometimes unpaid. But this creates job experience to the students.

Our college doesn't have any hostel or residential facilities.

College building is very large. It has 6 floors in total. There are two separate buildings one for BA, B.Com, and B.Sc students another separate for BBA students. It has a very large, neat, and clean library. Our college's library is one of the best libraries in Kolkata. It is so much organised with so many books of different subjects, courses, and even with general knowledge books and other story books. Whole college is full of air conditioner. Every corner of the college is very neat and clean and well maintained. Our college has three lifts. Two for students and one for teachers. Before entering college guards always scan our identity cards and then allow us to enter the college. Office works very efficiently and evens the System Control Room of the college. Every corner of the college is under CCTV surveillance. It also has a turf area for basketball. It also has a Sports Arena where every type of indoor games is available.

There are so many curricular groups other than faculty. There are so many students who are involved in Flames (dance), Singing, Enact (acting), NCC, and NSS. There is Eastern, Western, and Bollywood dance groups, Band, Rocks and playback singers, Solo and Group Enact members, and many more. There are total 4 halls for different events. Our college conducts Blood Donation camp every year. And it is one of the most famous camps because along with the blood donation camp it conducts a DJ in the turf to motivate and encourage the donors. Fests are conducted almost every month. It gives opportunities to all the students from 1st semester to last year seniors. The college becomes so much crowded during the events and fests.
