Overall Rating
SVIMS is one of the best institutes in Sonarpur. It has a great working ecosystem and also with very great opportunities regarding cultural activities. My main reason to join this institute is that I am very much interested into sports and co-curricular activities and provided with the best opportunities. Overall it is a perfect place for professional courses.
 

Academics Rating
I am currently learning B.Sc from microbiology branch. My reason to take this course is that lot into microbiological science since I was a small boy and becoming a microbiologist is nothing more than I imagine. SVIMS institute is one of the best colleges for microbiology students and provides them with good education and opportunities.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very cooperative. They provide with the best way of education possible. One thing I like about these faculties is that they use real life example to explain any topic which helps me a very good way to understand and also helps to remember the topic in my exams. Assignments are also given by the faculties; if there is any case that student need any help on their topic faculties guide them very carefully.
 

Placement Rating
SVIMS institute ensure a minimum package of 4 lakh per year which is good but not that great. Sometimes it helps the student to cope up with bad skill and academic year has a kick start to their journey.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The institute is spread in a very big area which consists of many buildings and ground for sports or cultural activities. Every floor has its different course specified to them. There is a cafeteria in the ground floor which is very well managed and clean. There is a library in the top floor where all the students and faculties are allowed free of cost.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very good. It gets pretty crowded in the winters when most of the student play some sports game like football, cricket , rackets, and some of the students are chilling in the central ground. There are various clubs in every field and one of the faculty member guide them to their club work like blood donation club, sports club, dance club, etc. Overall it’s a very fun experience.

    I'm a biotechnology student so most importantly; the laboratory of this college is well equipped. Every classroom is air conditioned and has smart board and projector facilities.
