NSHM Knowledge Campus B.Tech Review By Swarajit Ash

The college has good infrastructure including good facility in classrooms and hostel. This college offers various career opportunities for future growth. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Tata Power, Wipro, etc. offers placements from our college every year. The college has good accommodation and all other essential facilities that students required. So, I have taken the course from this college and will recommend others to study here also.

There are all types of course available like MBA, BBA, HM, Nursing, B.Tech, Diploma, M.Tech, and many more. Every course has different eligibility criteria for students. For Diploma courses students need to pass class 10 minimum. For UG courses like BBA, B.Tech, etc. students required to pass class 12 (10+2 level) minimum. To take PG course they need to pass out a UG from any recognised university. For B.Tech course like I am a B.Tech Electrical Engineering pass out students may come from giving JEE or JEELET (lateral entry) exams. For taking any course students have should have minimum 40% marks from their previous degree or board exams (10th or 12th).

All the faculties are very knowledgeable. In my department (Electrical Engineering) all faculties are M.Tech pass out, some of them are IIT pass outs. Some faculties have Ph.D degree also in their respective field. In the college there are students from different parts of India. So faculties teach with all their languages (English, Hindi, & local Bengali language) so that every student understands the topics well. The teachers are very helpful and supportive and they are very disciplined and punctual.

We have strong Placement Cell. They are well connected to be all department faculty members and groups also. They listen to us in every problem regarding placements and tries help from their end. They even organise special classes for special subjects or topic regarding to some company job criteria.

They college has good accommodation facility. They have good and organised student's hostel, well managed by college's security staffs and other management staffs. In canteen there are all types of foods available. Basic hospitality set-up also there. In hostel there is gim and indoor game set-up also for students. Outside of the college there are many rented house, lodge, apartments, etc. also available for students.

We have good and helpful academic block. They are many staffs there. We have well organised library there for both faculties and students where various types of book available on every subjects. We have 3 main academic building where classes are taken. There is other building also where the library is and there communication skills and other spoken English classes are also taken.

Overall campus like is really good, friendly, and healthy. The crowds are well controlled by the security officers and staffs. We have cultural fest also. Every year annual sports, food fest, education, & technology fest also organised by the faculty members. Blood donation camp, tree plantation, garbage cleaning campaign, and all other social activities are organised in our college.
