Techno Main Salt Lake B.Tech Review By Saikat Mukherjee

So, first of all TMSL was not my first preference it was HIT (Heritage Institute of technology) but I didn't get it, TMSL was on the second preference it is a decent college with decent placement and study culture, my batch mates are quite friendly though I cannot say it for the faculty, I'm a student of TMSL CSE (AIML) {Lateral}.

So I'm a student of TMSL CSE (AIML), entry requirements are that if you're lateral student then you shall not have any backlogs in your diploma, and you must have 60% in your diploma career if you meet these eligibility criteria’s then Welcome to "Techno Main Salt Lake" here in CSE AIML you will learn about basic science in 1st year, then in second year you will learn about DSA, Computer organisation, Digital and Analog Electronics etc. Same as CSE core in AIML there are not much difference in the curriculum the only difference here is you'll be learning Ai and ML.

I've entered in this college as a lateral student I felt some of the teacher are particularly rude towards us, not like misbehaving but it was not a healthy student teacher relationship. And I must address the management or shall I call it mismanagement because I was the first lateral student to take admission in this year. At that time no lateral has taken admission even after that when 10 more lateral students took admission they were like clueless what to do with us, it was not the first time they were seeing Laterals of course but it felt like we were the first batch of lateral that they ever saw. Overall experience is pathetic till now management wise.

I've just taken admission and currently in 2nd year 3rd semester so can't tell my personal experience but I've heard it's decent.

There is no option for hostel. Though you've some hostel option which is affiliated by TMSL but honestly speaking they're not that good.

Well Techno Main Salt Lake and Techno University shares one campus. Where the techno University Is well renovated the TMSL still looks under construction though you will not find anything to complain about as everything is there for you ease like the building where the classes happen it is of 9 story building where you will find 3 elevators so I would say infrastructure wise it is a good college.

In the campus you'll find one ground, 1 canteen for snacks and beverages. Though the sport ground is not that big (quite small in fact). The overall campus life is good you need to maintain 60% percent of attendance here (for some department it varies).
