KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad, an institution situated in Delhi-NCR, 20 minutes from Shaheed Sthal Metro Station and only 10 minutes from the Duhai RapidX station. Being the best college affiliated to AKTU, I guess the college lives upto the expectations of its students. Although, the first year is not Disneyland but after that, if you work hard enough, the college gets you a great platform to showcase your skills in whatever field.

The first year is a bit rough for students but the college does it to improve the results of students as there are many students who were not good at PCM in school. KIET has almost the best result in AKTU exams every year and that's among 700+ colleges, so the academics are not a problem if the student manages his time and does a little hard work. AKTU Curriculum is not that hard to be honest.

All the faculties are good but there's always a mix everywhere in this world. You would meet some arrogant teachers but most of them are more than helpful be it academics or personal issues. The authorities are good too and reachable at any moment the student wants. A student as usual, should maintain good relations with the teachers because after all they are humans too.

There is a Placement Cell in the college, CRPC. The Placement Cell coordinator has been awarded multiple times by different organisations both nationally and internationally. The college tries its level best to get the students placed but being honest here, some students don't even deserve the jobs college gets them into, they deserve to be unemployed for sometime but still the college gets them placed. The training for interviews and other things needed to get placed starts from the first year itself.

There are five hostels for each year (2 for first year). Named CV RAMAN, CHANDRAGUPT, ARYBHATT, VIVEKANAND, and TAGORE (for boys) and three for girls named GARGI, SARASWATI, and SAROJINI. The warden's behaviour and facilities at every hostel are much above expectations. The CV RAMAN hostel even looks like a high rent flat. All in all, the hostels are a much better choice than PG and rented flats in that region. Every hostel has it's timings but the college has strict no entry and exit for girls at hostel after 8 PM.

The total size of the campus is 18 Acre, which is considered on the smaller side. The campus is not that big, because of which the students will miss out on long walks at night and would get only a little area to walk around. The management of facilities even after being such a small area is something worth appreciation it gets. There are different academic blocks from A-H. There are 4 cafes in total which offer almost everything you can eat, but there is no non-veg food policy on the campus, egg is offered though. There is a multipurpose complex which has different indoor sports and a shop for purchasing necessities. Concluding, campus has everything you want but still if you're needs are not satisfied, the location is not bad there is everything available within 2-3 km radius.

If you are a socially active person, the college experience would be excellent for you here. There are number of clubs you can be a part of be it music, dance, entrepreneurship, creative, and what not. There is an entrance process for you to clear and be a part of the club. First year is a bit hectic but if you manage time efficiently, you can still have a great college life here. Chilling on cafes with friends, having late night maggi and coffee, going on tours by being a part of a club, etc. all contribute to a great campus life. Even if you're an introvert, you're not in danger, you can do your classes and chill out in your hostel, you maybe become an extrovert, who knows. There are 2 fests organised every year, Epoque and Innotech (Technical fest). The crowd is mostly from Uttar Pradesh (trust me, it's not bad) but you'll find people like me from other states too.
