Review Of ABES Engineering College

Overall Rating
Overall college is running behind attendance and marks, forgetting about children co-curricular activities. All they want are a school child who is supposed to do homework, wear college dress, stay in college, and just say 'Yes Mam'. As a result students are not able to enjoy their college life and have fun. Rest hostel food is also not good as heard from my fellow friends.
 

Academics Rating
There are many courses and branches under Computer Science department but priority is always given to CSE over the all others like CSE (DS), CSE (AIML), etc. Students over here have almost scored above 80%. Students can get admission through both direct and counselling till 2020 but I think now they are mostly getting in through counselling.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty here is little bit stupid and some are genuine too but most of the time they are just running behind completing syllabus and giving assignments to them. As far as concerned very few are able to provide real and genuine knowledge to students and also try to have the little bit chill environment for students instead of paper thing.
 

Placement Rating
Obviously yes, there is a Placement Cell and they tries their best to bring as much as opportunities for students but due to market fall most of the companies are not interested in recruitment. But still they manage somehow at the cost of our lower package that's it.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, hostel is present but I don't know much about it since I am a day scholar. All that I heard from my friends is that the food there is very bad or poor and girls are not allowed to come out of hostel after 6. Though boys are allowed till 8.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Talking about infrastructure, our college is not that big or spread on larger area. It's small with 5-6 buildings naming blocks like Aryabhatta, Ramanujan , Raman, and so on. There is facility of lifts in only 3-4 buildings and most of the time it's not for students. We do have a ground also along with a swimming pool.
 

Campus Rating
Coming to Campus life, yes, we do have fests but very less like once in a year. If that becomes twice then most of the time students don't get permission from teachers for enjoying it as it’s mostly at the stake of our attendance. We do have clubs including both cultural and educational. But as always most of the students don't participate because of the attendance issues.

    As I have recently joined the college, I have positive feedback about the college as the studying environment is very good and they also help us to enhance our skills. The seniors are very humble and supportive; and they organise the fresher party really well that is full of enjoyment. I would suggest that the aspiring Engineering students should take admissions in the college as the faculty members are too cooperative and help students in any situations.... Read Full Review

    I chose this college over any other because of its good placement. There are nearly 80% placements in our college and 100% placements in branches like CSE. Overall placements, faculty and infrastructure inspired me for taking admission in this college. I had many choices, but ABES was greatest among all of them.... Read Full Review

    Overall, ABESEC is a good college. I got admission through counseling. For the first year students there are some restrictions because of anti-raging. But after some time there are no restrictions you can participate in various activities. Talking about fests, Genero is the major fest and various clubs of ABESEC conduct their fest as well. Seniors are friendly in nature. Overall I would prefer you to join this college.... Read Full Review

Being a student at ABES I can say that the quality of education you get here is basically enough for you to sustain yourself in the competitive market.
