Poddar Group Of Institutions is a UGC and NAAC accredited college. It has collaboration with some foreign universities to facilitate them to study abroad. The admission process in Poddar is quite simple. You have to fill an admission form and once you get a confirmation you can go for document verification, and you are done. The college management is very cooperative and will guide you whenever you need.

I had completed my graduation from Poddar Group of Institutions in 2019. I got admission based on my 12th marks. The admission process was hassle-free. I didn't have to face any interview or entrance exams. I joined B.Sc at Poddar because this institution transforms a student in every dimension such as personality, discipline, management, communication, and much more.

I had 3 subjects in my graduation. I had overall 3 teachers, one teacher for each subject. Poddar has about 70+ faculties. All the faculties are well-qualified. Most of the teachers are NET qualified and some also have done Ph.D. Most of the teachers are teaching in this institution for the past 5 years. The way of teaching of all the faculties is quite good. Faculties explain the topics both in Hindi and English.

I was the student head coordinator of the training and placement cell in Poddar. Poddar organizes "Job Fair" very frequently where many companies come to hire final year students. The students can give interviews in as many companies as they want. If they get selected they can do a part-time job as well. Companies such as Genpact, Alibaba, Teleperformance, Axis Bank, Jaipur Rugs, and many more visit the institution to hire students. The highest package in my batch was Rs. 5Lacs per annum.

Poddar was providing a hostel facility till 2018 but, now it has collaborated with a hostel outside the campus. The rent is quite affordable and has 2-seater rooms. Poddar provides hostel facility to both boys and girls separately. The food is healthy and hygienic. The gates of the hostel get closed at 10 pm.

The campus of Poddar is not that big to be honest but, it has all the necessary things for a student's development. It also has an auditorium and a canteen. Poddar celebrates every festival and national days in the campus. The classrooms are spacious are well-light and ventilated. It has well-equipped labs for botany, chemistry, geography and zoology. Poddar has a park just nearby the campus where students can stroll in their free time. Poddar also has a sports room and a gymnasium. Poddar also has a library having all the required books of all subjects. Poddar do not have a medical room but Poddar has links to the nearby hospital so in any emergency the management can call for help.

Poddar organizes a lot of events throughout the year. If the student is active in academics or cultural activities or both then he/she will be awarded in the annual function. Students have formed various cultural clubs nukkad natak, dance, social service, singing, instrument playing, and sports. As a student of Poddar, I can assure you that if a student is willing and dedicated then the student will get a plethora of opportunities to learn and improve their skill. Poddar is not a place just for studying. It offers you a lot to do. Grab the opportunities and grow.
