IMS Engineering College B.Tech Review By Manvi Chaudhary

My experience in this college was really amazing I joined IMSEC in 2022 and currently in 2nd year of my B.Tech. I choose this college because of its wide popularity and placement rate and what attracted me the most was its culture which indeed is wonderful. All the events cultural events that are outstanding and opens a great opportunity for extroverts as well as introverts to interact. When I entered the college almost 2 years back I was absolutely new to the environment and people and everything here this college taught me the skill of adaptability and how to survive in the completely new environment with unknown people. This college taught me the skill to be social with the people you don't even know and be friends with them. This college and the professors here which are really friendly and always ready to help taught me the skills to grow as in my career and how to be professionally respectful and a lot more. As this is the first time I stepped out my home my comfort zone I can say that this is the safest place I could or anyone could be to enjoy peacefully my evening coffee on Nescafe.

Basically in the course I'm enrolled in is BTECH (Bachelor’s of Technology) branch CSE (AI/ML). Test series are often conducted for regular practice of students. This practice helps lots of students in securing good marks. Even the result that comes this tine time was much better than the last year result. All the assignments, class tests and notes are of great importance.

Faculties here as far as I know are really good and friendly at the same time really dedicated towards students we can anytime visit the faculty room before 4 pm. They will help the students in assignments given and are really understandable with genuine problems but also very particular about discipline very particular about the deadlines. Overall faculties are good and very supportive.

Yes we have a placement cell in college. They have a format for the placement session which gives each and every student the opportunity to sit in interviews. Last year almost 150+ companies visited so yes they really help the students in acquiring jobs.

Hostel is the best place one could live in. I am experiencing the hostel live right now also and I can say I can spend my all 4 years of the B.Tech here itself without complaining a bit. The food of mess is really good they provide lunch dinner and snacks in the morning and evening both and complains regarding food or anything is looked into and are resolved immediately after complaining to the warden. I must mention about the cleanliness I would honestly give cleanliness of here a A+. On security purposes the in timing is 7: pm for the market passes and hostel events also take place at times for girls hostel and boys hostel individually and collectively both.

As we will enter the main gate no 2 we will be able to see the very first block of college that is A block which includes reception , registrar office and the classes of biotech B.Tech and MBA and also have placement cell. Then we will follow straight there is girls hostel then walking straight library and canteen for everyone then we will get B block and C block for CSE, mechanical and other branches including labs and examination cell. Sports grounds are also there. Boys hostel which have 4 different buildings for boys hostel behind the ground there is a small spot for coffee that is Nescafe and also have different individual canteen for girls and boys hostel hence the infrastructure is quite good.

Campus life here is really amazing we have the best seniors. There are different events that make the cultural life really good. Fest is one of the greatest events that take place every year, VIBGYOR is the event that takes place every year which is continued for 2-3 days and it includes celebrity night as well. And small events are also organised at times apart from VIBGYOR. And sports are equally promoted here events for sports also takes place at times at inter and intra level. Hence campus life helped me grow as an individual and I love being here.
