Ambalika Institute of Higher Education, Lucknow - My Review

Overall Rating
The college is good but in some of case I don't like it due to many reason like the infrastructure of this college is not good it is too sort, placement drive is also below average not get higher package, classes are be like ok you have to study more in 1st year but after that the quality of class is down, etc. College fest is also below average they hardly organise any college fest. I disappointed.
 

Academics Rating
The college academics is good in 1st year. You have to study more. The classes’ quality is very good but from 2nd year the quality of class is degrade. To get admission in B.Tech you must have math and science background in class 12. For taking admission in BCA you must have from mathematics or computer background.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of B.Tech batch is very good. They teach subjects very well, they also do practical of majority of subjects. Some teachers was did B.Tech and some of them did M.Tech and only few of them did Ph.D. For BCA course the B.Tech teacher or MCA teacher, only one faculty is good and his name is Naveen Sharma. He is the best teacher of the College.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, in my college Placement Cell is available. The small company and start-up always come for placement. Every course get chance to sit in placement drive.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is good. There are 2 hostels, one for girls and 2nd one is for boys. Hostels are of two types one has room for 2-3 students and 2nd one is for 15-20 students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of college is small. There are two buildings in one main campus is for B.Tech all branches and diploma all branches second building is BBA, B.Com, BCA, and MBA. But library is too sort they don't allow to sit inside Library. They don't allow to go outside from the college. The rules are very strict.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is very bad because the campus is small, students can't able to enjoy. There are only three small grounds and only one canteen which is always crowded, my college don't allow to go outside of the class while lecture, they treat students like 8th grade students. The management system of college is very poor. No college fest, not any society or cultural program is organised.

Now - a- days there are private engineering college with high paid fees while Ambalika is also an engineering colleges but this college has less fess for any engineering course like B.Tech and BCA as compared to any colleges of Lucknow....     This college is affiliated from Lucknow University and currently I m pursuing BCA from this college My experience in this college is great. This college has a good environment for students to study. They have many labs, Library which helps to students in their studies.     I am currently pursuing BCA. I prefer this college for every student who want to hold an engineering degree in future in different branches. Faculties are highly educated, some faculty hold master degree and some hold Ph.D degree in different fields.     My overall experience here is average. However, after coming here, I discovered so much of my inner talents and skills, which with the help of the opportunities this college provides us; I was able to work on and improved it for good. Also, the main reason I chose this college was because of its affordable fee structure.     I am currently pursuing BCA in this college and if you talk about campus then is not so bad at this fees range. College fests are also in least but some faculties are too good and professional in nature which offer us a great session of studies. Canteen is too short and main point is that they pinch you for fees. Overall my experience is not too bad in this college because placement is not too bad. Yes, it’s not good but not bad as well....
