My college review on Bijoy Krishna Girls College, Howrah

Overall Rating
My experience of the college was overall good but personally I didn't encounter any events so it was bad for me. Covid-19 was there and all the people were in quarantine and so was I. Since my college is far away from my home so I avoided going to the college except prior urgency. I used to go only during the exams.
 

Academics Rating
My course was Bachelor in Science (Honours) in Psychology. You are eligible for the course once you pass the 12th board exams and you are selected and your name appears in the list. Earlier my motive for enrolling in this program was to become a successful psychologist but now I want to sit for the Govt. Exams.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of our college were very highly qualified and dignified. Most of them were very experienced in their own respective fields and were pursuing Ph.D. Their style of teaching is very unique and interesting in their own way. If you are having any problem and inform the teacher then they will solve it personally.
 

Placement Rating
No Placement Cell in our college but the toppers does get on-campus placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are available and the details are given in the college official website.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Since the college is very old so it needs to be renovated. Still then, the classrooms and the labs are highly equipped with modern facilities. The classrooms are equipped with benches, fans, lights, and enough ventilation. There is also a basketball court but the teachers park their cars there.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is not so interesting. The students do gossips all the day and most of our students are involved with students’ political unions. There are no student societies or clubs so that a student can increase their skill or learn something new. Fests used to occur during the winter season.

    Overall Rating
    A quality college to pursue bachelor's degree, although the education quality is declining, still it's maintaining its head high and going strong.
