Kirori Mal College B.Sc Review By Diksha Sharma

At the first day of my college I felt that how big is the area of the college. On my first day I have done my college tour and I found that there are various facilities and good infrastructure of the college. Then I found the gym, badminton court and auditorium which is a little smaller but nice. The classrooms are superb with big desk and a nice projector in it then I move on to labs which have all instruments and chemicals. Sports complex is also nice, it has a boxing ring and the cricket pitch. Also my college is famous about the politics and chemistry and there is a little crowd. Also fests, meeting, parade, functions are also held in the college. In addition to this, teachers are also helpful, they share their knowledge in a good way. The college has a boys hostel not a girls hostel and also have girls and boys common room with AC and lift for disabled people. The main building has 4 flours and different departments and clean washrooms. Ashoka lawn is very famous for its greenery but it remains closed most of the time and there is a canteen lawn library lawn also. Now coming to library there is so nice library with nice arrangements of books of all departments. There is a Wi-Fi availability also. In comparison of other colleges with their fee I think my college is very nice from other with very low fee.

On coming to academic I have chemistry honors and my college is on top 6 in chemistry. For eligibility you have to pass 12th class and also pass CUET exam with good marks then there is allotment of college according to the cutoff, then the entry requirements are only fee receipt and my main motive to choose chemistry honors was the availability of all the instrument and facilities in labs of my college and I also have interest in chemistry.

On coming to faculty I have Chemistry Honors and my college is in top 6 in chemistry. It has amazing labs with all the chemicals and instruments and teachers are knowledgeable but also strict and also helpful and there way of teaching is good but I think there is a requirement of some work also and also my college is famous about politics.

There are a lot of placement in my college for B.Tech, B.Com and many other courses like B.Sc. I think the maximum package has gone up to INR 40-50 LPA and the minimum package is 4-5 LPA and companies also visits the college for providing a range of internship opportunities to the skilled students.

There is boys hostel in the college not girls hostel. But one day I asked my friend about the hostel facilities then he said that the hostel is full of facilities their rooms are big and also the furniture is nice. Infrastructure is also good but the food is not so good and a hostel canteen is also there.

Infrastructure is good as the main building is very big and the outer look is amazing because of detailed work. The building have four floors and hostel is also well designed their rooms are amazing. The library is also well designed. It has 3 floors and has 4 reading rooms and canteen is in front of admin block.

What I say about the campus life the college campus is amazing I love it because of the events and fests and small function held within a week. There is a gym, sports complex, Ashoka lawn and library lawn where different societies perform. It also has NCC ground for parade, basketball court and various other sports facilities. One of the event is Aashayein and I enjoyed it a lot because of stalls and also there was a fun game of horror house.
