Overall Rating
I basically choose this college for its performance. The college is constructed around 1990. Since then it's performance good. There teachers are good and helpful. College claims that 90% students are placed in company. TCS, Oracle, Infosys, etc. came to this college for placement. And its academic cost around 3.5 Lakh. In this amount the college gives good response to their students.
 

Academics Rating
The entry requirements like you have to get at least 60 % in you board exam. You should have subjects like physics, chemistry, math, etc. In West Bengal there is a exam for the engineering, called WBJEE or West Bengal joint entrance examination. For enrolment you have give this exam. After that you can enrol.
 

Faculty Rating
In this college 6 engineering streams are available. In all departments there are respective faculty members for all the subjects. 80% of teachers are mastered in their respective subject. For every subject there are at least 2 teachers allotted in every classes. Their understanding with students is very good.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel of the college is very good. In my own opinion the senior culture is very good. They don’t torture their juniors. For every year there is separated hostel building.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 4 blocks like South, East, North, and West in the college and the academic building is separate from the college but in campus. There is a well maintained library in the college. For every department they have good capacity of labs. There are two grounds one for sports like cricket, football, basketball, etc.
 

Campus Rating
There many clubs in this college like music, sports, drama, robotics, etc. Main part of the college is college fest. The technical fest is held for 2 days. The cultural fest is held for 2 more days. CPL, College Premier League is held in the college. Main sports in CPL are cricket, football, basketball, and badminton running.

    Overall, the college life is good. You have to study well if you want to get good marks in semester exam. But, I will suggest you to take admission in other colleges like IEM, Techno India university, etc. if you want to study Computer Science Engineering branch as these colleges provides you much better infrastructure and placement accuracy....     It was a pretty good experience in college in 1st year. I don't want a college far away from my home and I thought that College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat is the best choice for me. In CEMK, we can play so many sports which I liked. The college campus is pretty big and beautiful, It is covered with trees.... Read Full Review

    I choose this college as almost 90% of the students this program have got placements. The highest package goes from 13 LPA to 14 LPA. The average package offered in our course is 4.5 LPA to 5 LPA. A lot of students do get internships from our college.     It is a private college under WBPDCL. As my rank is high so I got It. Now this college placement is also poor. If you get other college you can go there. I am not able to carry more than 3.6 lakh so I came here.... Read Full Review
