RAVENSHAW UNIVERSITY, CUTTACK - My Perception

Overall Rating
After 12th pass out from JNV Dhenkanal. I decided to complete my graduation from Ravenshaw University because previously some of my seniors were suggested about this. I searched on youtube and instagram about Ravenshaw and the big campus attracted me most. The campus was fully coloured with red which also attracted me.
 

Academics Rating
I can guess that there are more than 30 courses in ravenshaw including professional courses like BBA, MCA, and ITM. Integrated B.Ed also available. Classes are conducted on regular basis and also there are facilities for seminars on weekly basis. Practical also conducted here according to the syllabus.
 

Faculty Rating
My department means commerce has very good faculties. 2 professors, 5 assistant professors, and 10 faculty members are here for teaching us. They make the things very easy for us. Actually they are very qualified and experienced persons. So there is no problem in guiding us in a better way. Our HOD sir is very supportive. He randomly comes to class and asking questions.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, VC sir also takes care for good placements. Companies like TCS come to the campus and provide jobs.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, Hostel facilities also available here. Total 13 hostels. 6 for girls and 7 for boys. All girl hostels are built under a separate boundary in the campus. 1 hostel JC is outside campus of 1.5km far.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure facilities also have got the priority here. All the departments have their separate academic blocks. The biggest library Kanika is here. All the students are can read here. Annex - III and convention centre also which was very big. It can hold all the students at a time. All the functions are conducted here. The front lawn was here which was looking so beautiful in the evening time.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is full of Masti. I think I got the best roommates as well as best seniors who always help me in every situation. There is at least 4/5 functions or celebrations in a month. There is also importance for the sport section. Playground is very big. Odisha Cricket Association players are regularly practicing their cricket here.

    Ok, First of all I'm new in Ravenshaw. I'm basically a fresher but I know Ravenshaw very well. First of all please congratulate our college for obtaining A++ from NAAC it was a very proud moment for all the Ravenshawvian.
