When it comes for choosing this college, since my preference was geography hons. I had placed it first in my preference list which I prepared right after CUET exam. You won't get admission in your choice of college but everything depends upon your CUET score and your well prepared preference list. This college is located in the north campus and have a good NIRF Ranking so one must go for this college.

My course is BA Hons. Geography. Kirori Mal College is considered the best for geography hons. in entirely Delhi University. And it is true also. We have one of the best teachers for geography. One must give CUET exam for admission in this college. The admission is entirely merit based. You have to give CUET exams in English and any three other subjects. Although one would not get any placement right after graduation but there is wide scope after pursuing Masters and Ph.D.

Kirori Mal College has one of the best faculty members for geography. The teachers are highly educated and experienced. They have even authored many well known books. They are ready to provide you guidance whenever you ask them. Most of the teachers are Delhi University alumni itself so you can guess their level of knowledge from here itself.

Yes, we have a Placement Cell but I am not sure whether we get any placement with good package in geography right after graduation.

Kirori Mal College provides a boys hostel and not girl’s hostel. So as a girl I don't have much idea about hostel facilities. But as much I have heard from my friends it is affordable and good. Admission is totally merit based. The hostel canteen is open for everyone. It provides tasty food at pocket friendly price.

When it comes to campus it has a lush green campus with library, lawn, canteen, etc. where you can hangover with your friends in your free time. The sports complex and the playground are also large. There are 2 blocks for science and arts and commerce. Most of the classes are equipped with ACs. The campus life is just awesome here. If one is thinking for the arts courses one would surely select this college. We have a pretty good library and a pleasant reading room. The canteen is also pretty good. You will get a lot of choices to eat and enjoy with your friends. There are frequent visits of motivational speakers and renowned personalities in our college. So you would get the chance to hear them and learn from them.

So, if you are planning for a beautiful college life with both studies and extracurricular activities hand in hand you must go for this college. The campus life is awesome. There are frequent departmental and societal fests in our college which you can engage in if you desire. There are a number of societies like NSS, NCC, FAPS, DEBSOC, MUSOC, etc. for those who have interests in these fields. The DEBSOC - debating society of Kirori Mal College is one of the oldest in the entire Delhi University with a lot of achievements. Our fest name is Renaissance.
