My Views on Ravenshaw University

Overall Rating
Ok, First of all I'm new in Ravenshaw. I'm basically a fresher but I know Ravenshaw very well. First of all please congratulate our college for obtaining A++ from NAAC it was a very proud moment for all the Ravenshawvian. It is a very old college but the infrastructure is fabulous every department is separated from each other. Ravenshaw University is a very popular university of Odisha.
 

Academics Rating
There are so many courses available in Ravenshaw University. You can get entry on the basis of your marks. They provide a merit list or cut off mark of Ravenshaw University. The entire department has their own cut off mark. I'm pursuing B.Com from Ravenshaw University our cut off mark was 521. University is anti ragging and nice.
 

Faculty Rating
As every department has their own teacher and all the departments are little bit far from each department. We students are unable to make contact with other department’s teachers. But coming to our own teacher, all the teachers are very friendly and cooperative. You can freely ask them questions or any doubt. And all the Ravenshaw teachers are highly qualified teachers.
 

Placement Rating
Ok, not going to lie I'm a fresher I really don't know about the placement but as I have heard from our senior and also from our teachers that many MNCs comes to our university every year and offer placement to the deserving students at least 67% of students get the placement and they are all satisfy.
 

Hostel Rating
Ok again I'm not going to lie Ravenshaw has many hostel but they are just not enough. I and my friends don’t get any hostel because there were no more seats left. But I have seen the hostel from outside. The infrastructure of the hostels is nice and can be improved. The food quality is also nice.
 

Infrastructure Rating
As our college is very old but the infrastructure is fabulous. Very department is separately located from each department. Our college also has 2 big playground and gyms too. And also a canteen. The buildings are very neat and their structures are beautiful. There is a large auditorium and the classrooms are air conditioned.
 

Campus Rating
I'm very happy that I'm pursuing my graduation from Ravenshaw University because it has a very enjoyable campus. Every function is celebrated very well. All the students dance and enjoy. The best part of Ravenshaw is the DJ night. It is full of fun and joy. The crowd is insane. Various sports and cultural activities are organised in the college. Teachers motivate the students to participate in events and fests that are organised in the college.
