Review on Vidyasagar University, Midnapore

Overall Rating
When I'm talking about Vidyasagar University you can't imagine its campus size and beauty. When any student first enters the university, they see and tell that God is really present here. The garden and the flowers gorgeousness just unbelievable. I chose this University because it is near my hometown and better not more than Jadavpur and Calcutta University but yes it's good.
 

Academics Rating
You can apply here as a regular student or distance student. For regular you have to appear the exam first and then if you are eligible then you can admit into the college. And distance mode is available for all of the students. But in your undergraduate you must have 50% then you can apply for Masters.
 

Faculty Rating
First you will think that professors are rude persons but reality is opposite. Professors are NET / SET qualified and some of the professors are recruited through JRF exam. So you can guess how well qualified they are. Their teaching level can't beat any other West Bengal’s University, I hope. I’m passed out in Sanskrit with 7.8 CGPA.
 

Placement Rating
In our Sanskrit department there is no placement. But in science department especially chemistry department's placement and computer science department's placement are better. Average package for chemistry is 2 LPA and Computer science is 3 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no hostel and mess in our university. As it is located in Midnapore, you can easily get mess outside in low to low price. Starting range between 500 to 1000 Rs. Midnapore is a town you can get anything you want.
 

Infrastructure Rating
As I told you in overall review that how the university's beauty looks like. You can guess from there that the infrastructure of our university can't make any other universities in West Bengal. There buildings like sky scrapers. There is north, south, east, and west block. In north block there is all lab rooms and south block all classrooms and east block for administrative and west block only for halls and auditoriums.
 

Campus Rating
Campus is around 700 to 1200 acres and its gorgeousness is awesome. There is no club but a society is here. And a library is here, it is totally free but if you don't have library card you can't enter. Fest is untold. It is an emotion of Masters students of all departments. Tech Fest held every year before the cultural fest. In cultural fest 'Baul' folks come and sing here every year.

    Outside of main Midnapore Town, Vidyasagar University has a fresh atmosphere. No problem of noise and disturbance in the campus. Being a rural University this university is still growing and the administration and faculties are trying their level best to create better opportunities for students. NAAC has graded it as a B grade University. Admission is processed by entrance exam. The process of getting exam results to taking admission is hold online.
